how to film xbox footage

How do you film xbox 360 footage from the tv?
I see people putting up their stuff onto youtube and etc.

You have to buy a capture card. It hooks up through the cables and records to a drive or tape or something.

Look on Amazon for one.

Of course, you could always just set up a video camera, but that always looks like crap.

What do you think the price ranges are for a decent one?
Im looking to make a mini tv series (not telling about yet ) but it's from an xbox game for sure.
I have a nice TV, my dad just had to get one because we changed to fios, not sure if that effects anything.

So yeah help me learn the down low.
