Hahaha, you think this is the real Quaid? It is! *Gunshots*

The campaign can be accessed in multiplayer but it's not intended to be. For the host of the session, it'll play fine but for any clients who join you'll have lots of issues such as crashes, not being able to spawn, etc.

Is this a hover class vehicle that works on land and water?

I no longer own a PS2 or even a television. So I am out. Good luck!

I use gmail and it shows all SWBFgamers stuff in the spam folder. Can I do something to make it go to inbox?
#276
Does it include the anti-crash / anti-hack patches?

So essentially we just have to replace all instances of gamespy.com with swbfspy.com, right?

Is the PS2 versions of SWBF1 and 2 going to be supported, and what about the PSP specific games? Elite and Renegade Squadron. GameShare had just got them working a few weeks ago.

The demo (I think...) is available on the DVD for Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith, (or Revenge of the Sith game) - but you could only play the demo if you put the movie in the Xbox console.

SWBF1 Modding / Re: EXE Memory Pool hacking

The only advice I can give is learn to use Cheat Engine. Personally CE doesn't make a lot of sense but others seem to pick up on it pretty well. You can look for and edit things in real time, and map things out to their offset in the exe file if you want to make a permanent edit.

Requests / Re: How to make .option for msh files
May 15, 2016, 05:54:58 PM
Let's say your .msh is named com_bldg_object.msh - You would open notepad, type in the parameters you need, then click save as, "all files" and name it com_bldg_object.msh.option then make sure your option file and the msh file are in the same msh folder.

The best thing you can probably get is the PSP version of SWBF2 using the PPSSPP Emulator app. Some users and I over at GT are working on some sick PSP version mods too!

- The default PSP version has so much content ripped away so it's a let down by default, that's why we're modding it. But let it be known, modding the PSP game isn't like PC. We had to create some outside-of-the-modtools methods to get new things working.

I, along with another user by the name of PyroJockey did server side modding for a good long time. We've determined just about everything that you can do on server side that will not crash or require downloads. But there is too many things to make a list so if you ever need help on a specific thing PM me and I'll help you with it. PyroJockey and I are pretty deep in the server side stuff.  :tu:

I just got you message on Gametracker but see you solved it already. At the time of putting those little guides together, that's all I understood how to do. At this point I would recommend learning how to use the mod tools. The mod tools comes with all of the original map scripts and you can edit them and compile a new mission.lvl file. It's way more freedom than hex editing the old file.

Console modifications are pretty much required. I never did it so I don't know the exact method, but there's more than one way. It depends on your console model and certain software updates which also vary by console model. There's a sticker on everyone's PS2 that has a number that looks like 500001, 70001, or 90001 or similar. 90x models and above are known to be harder to mod. 70x and below are easier from what I hear. I have a real friend (fellow MNC) who modded his 90x PS2, and he has to do something every time he boots the console and swaps the original game disc with the modded disc really fast at a certain point when connecting to multiplayer. That's all I can really provide. Phobos and I can make actual game mods but for myself personally that's all I can do.

One idea I can recommend is that someone who's good with console modding could buy a bunch of consoles, burn modded game discs and distribute them to people for a small price to get payed back. Perhaps $20 or less per person. Of course that's if that person would want to charge a fee, they're welcomed to do it for free. I may go as far as to recommend a small site be setup for people who want to request a modded ps2 with the game patches and modded games, or add a section for that purpose on known community sites.
