I solved the problem. To change the weapons and classes names (and other things like map name, structure name etc) just use the localize tool. The localize tool is in the data_MAP ("your map name") folder, is a file called editlocalize.
There is a tutorial on YouTube explaining step by step how to change names:

(I tried to create the scaled AT-AT changing the .odf and creating an .option file associated whith the .msh file; I don't know how to munge animations. Have a tutorial for this in the site?)
