Hello,
So, I've been trying to play from France for a while now, and I keep getting errors, even though I've followed Dracula's Youtube Tutorial.
I heard the new DNS for PS is : 67.249.159.113
So I tried it, and got the message "DNS error -618"
Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
I don't think that is a working DNS.
Try this one:
74.91.125.138

please note ps2 online currently it only works in usa. there are no dnas servers for eu or japan right now. PyroJockey was hosting a region free server ps2 swbf2 a few months ago not sure if it is still working anymore. but the problem is the setup of the dns# with the network startup disc. without the dnas server up for your region it makes it impossible to play online.
The gate servers can be setup for other regions--this requires a web expert with SSL knowledge. If you have this knowledge or can find someone, I can point you to the software.
I suspect there may be a way to force the system to use the US gate server, too.
thanks for your answers !

I'm affraid I don't have this knowledge and don't know someone who has, I think.
