Thank you very much Gistech!  :cheer: I didn't know it was this line of code...

Thanks Phobos! I've been able to resolve it, it seems it was a code error.  :slap:

Even if you aren't very sure, is there no way to make the terrain collision disappear? I mean something similar like the map of Bespin: Platforms. In this map there's no terrain and the player can fall into the void and die (more or less this is what I mean).

Hello! I need help with this.

I've been at least 1 month researching how to convert a SWBF2 map to SWBF1, and the fact is that I've finally made it with Coruscant: Jedi Temple (with my own method :P).

What I haven't achieved in the resulting map is to clear the collision of the terrain, which apparently looks dark. Here I leave some screenshots where I show you where the problem is...

The first image corresponds to my own conversion of the map and the second to a conversion of a downloaded map in SWBFGamers.

I also have a problem with showing the stars in the sky. I have entered this code in the cor1.sky file:

Stars()
{
NumStars(8000);
RandomSeed(1);
TwinkleFactor(0.5);
TwinkleFrequency(0.1);
Color(255, 255, 255, 255);
BrightStarPercent(70.0);
AlphaMin(15);
ColorSaturation(0.75);
}

And this happens:

If you can help me, I'll thank you!

NOTICE!

Now IC is called IA (Intergalactic Alliance). Regarding the group of players nothing has changed. I congratulate c0c0beam that he has decided to join IA.  :cheers:

I recommend against there being two distinct factions (YAK and IA/IC) which both attempt to play the role that YAK has played in previous tournaments.

I find it's a bit difficult. I have already tried to contact some YAK members and I don't even know about them...

Also, I haven't created IA to make YAK competitive. I have created this group to be able to play DET and allow other players to participate.

There will probably only be IC. Im not sure YAK'd have enough members to participate if IC is already in...

The truth is that it's a shame YAK isn't going to participate. It seems that what has happened this year (someone has explained me) is that the number of online players has dropped or they have disappeared themselves.

Done. We already have a new Clan-Group! ;)

Could you place the "IC Recruitment for the DET" link here in this topic? It will make it more visible if there are interested players.

QuoteYAK is not a clan.  It is just a collection of players that are not in clans participating in the tournament.  So, yes, you really can do it!   ;)

So, post your steps 1-3 and have a go at it.  It really isn't for me to lead people to entertainment.  However, I am happy to provide a place for it.   :cheers:

Then it is possible? Okay! :D

But if I do, it should be tomorrow because there isn't much time left...  :( If you could persuade Anyder to extend the Signup period it would be better. But don't worry, I can do it in a moment.

QuoteI know what u meant, but I do not know. I do not lead YAK so I have no idea.
Some people wanna play the tournament the same way u do. Just contact them urself.

I don't know who the current leader is, but I think it was TheGangstarTY. I also don't know how it works YAK, I joined ICW6 knowing that it was a "special" clan for players that didn't have place in a clan.

QuoteSelect a YAK leader among yourselves and organize

I can't do that, I'm sorry. I'm not part of the YAK clan and also, as I have told Anyder before, I don't know his system as a clan.

What I know of YAK is that in several ICW editions I had exercised "friendly" clan of players who didn't have clan or if they were in a clan but their clans didn't participate. The problem now is that YAK isn't going to participate and I've to stay out of it. Since you proposed to me Led, I propose the following in three simple steps:

1) Create a kind of "public clan" (only 1) for players without clan or with.
2) Post a topic about recruiting players (how did YAK).
3) Post the list of all those players and you're done.

I think that with this you would save questions from players like me saying (Oh! What happened to YAK? And now how do I participate?) And it would quickly fix everything. If that's okay with you, I think this I could do it.  8)

QuoteYou do not need to be more than 10. In fact I'll probably limit it to that so that we can have at least 4 participating teams. We're gonna need that minimum to run the tournament, cause otherwise it'll be pointless

I guess it's obvious. But also I meant that if for example: I want to participate, but my clan isn't going to do it, then I join a clan recruiting players to participate (as it has been the YAK case in the last ICW tournaments).

In the Clan Signup Thread I've seen that TheGangstarTY has joined Alpha, so I doubt this year YAK will participate. How can I and the other players participate then?

Is there no recruitment by the YAK clan this year? I say this because there are players (like me) who want to participate and don't have a large number of members in their respective clans. Also, inside my clan I'm not the leader.

I already spoke to my leader of the AR clan and says that he's not interested. But you can count on me either as a clan member of a YAK-like clan or as a reinforcement of another clan.

Awards & End of the Tournament

Hey all,

The SWBFLeague tournament ended yesterday with the Free-Open Game Event and the results are now available with their respective winners.

You can check here: http://swbfleague.ucoz.es/index/awards/0-6

Although we only had 10 players and it was difficult to gather the most players, we had a great time. It's the first tournament I've organized and I must admit that there are still many things to improve, but I've been very excited to carry it out.

From the beginning I was surprised that no users of SWBFGamers have participated in SWBFLeague (you may not have liked it enough). Still, as soon as I wrote the first post I received good and bad reviews about the tournament, but I think some should have participated (even if it's playing a game) to better see the system.

To finish I want to thank Led for offering SWBFGamers as a place to manage the tournament, in addition to keeping my word when following this. I hope that in the future more editions can be carried out and more players participate.

Have a nice holidays!  :tu:

Free-Open Game Event

SWBFLeague opens the doors to ALL PLAYERS this 18th June to give place to the Free-Open Match!!!

This Sunday, to celebrate the end of the 1st edition, any player can join the last game of SWBFLeague. Only the following must be taken into account:

-The event will take place at the usual SWBFLeague time [2:00 PM (EST) / 8:00 PM (CET) / 10:00 PM (MSK)].
-The game will have the same rules for both the players involved as the invited players (to check the rules, visit the following link: http://swbfleague.ucoz.es/index/main_information/0-4).
-The password to join the game is: swbfl

In addition, this event will allow outside players the ability to see how the tournament works and ask questions related to it (I'll be there for it, of course  :D). You'll also be able to meet the winners and see a recording of this game on my new (hypothetical) YouTube channel. It will be the first video to upload!

And, of course, I encourage you to come. We'll have fun!  :cheers:
