Since the beginning of time, man has always had options. What food to eat, which place to live, which language to speak... you get the idea. And with such freedom to choose, there inevitably comes a conflict. Those who chose one option are always convinced that their choice was the superior, and constantly wage a war of words with those who chose differently.

And so, each side thinks their platform is much better than all the others. And inevitably... there is conflict.

Will you fight for your side once more in the unceasing rivalry between the Macs and the PCs? The PC empire emerged victorious last time- will the Macs strike back? Will the mighty Microsoft empire crumble in our little battlefield? We shall see...

Actually Zen, I think we don't need more Macs per se, but better macs. :P We also need the macs to hang around for more of the match. Cause most of them left after the first part. Myself included. :(

Destructor is right. There are way too many players on the Mac side.
I guess I'll switch over to the PC side (I recently got the Windows version of the game :D).

Last time, at the start, macs outnumbered PCs but later on PCs outnumbered macs.

Most likely Macs will outnumber PCs but only time will tell.

I would generally agree slightly- however this is not counting any PLA such as Buckler who is hosting it, or Striker who also came for the PC side but didn't say he was going to before hand.

I think we should stick to our appropriate Operating Systems until the day of the match. That is when we can decide how to even out the teams.

Linux dominates the playing field.
But if I cannot fight for Linux then count me in for the PC side.

I think that the players should stick to their platform no matter becuase in the last one macs had a ton of players then they left and pc had a ton. So it should even itself out again :P A way to get some pc publicity is to post on clan sites :P

Ventrilo is a voice communication software. If you have a mic, we can talk to you and you can talk to us. It's pretty cool and nice to have during a tournament like this.

Congratz to the PCs for a well fought game. 6-2 we got owned.

Game started losing its enjoyability at the end when players starting spamming crude stuff, but the rest was great.

I think PW was fun. I'd like to see another one. Maybe with Boonta Eve treated as a regular, fight and cp capturing battle, rather than a racing map, with planes off-limits since they can only be possessed by one side. Needless to say everyone would be the paintballer, rule or not. I think Mustafar on either era would be good too, since it's really in-your-face.

On a different note, to the guys who posted screenshots earlier, your spawn screen and stats screen looks really great. What mod is that? I'd really like to have it.
