hi, i just want to let any one know if they want a special mission file i can make it for them. it is so easy to make any troop battle eachother. so if you can imagine wookies vs any standard line up troop just let me know here and i will make it for you. it would be fun to be in a server and all you see is the troops you asked for against you and friends.

hi, i was wondering what everyones view of the definition of a star wars battlefront1 mod maker is?

i feel the definition of a star wars battlefront mod maker is a person with a system that can change the game so different that it is more fun. for some it can be easy and for others it can be hard. for some it takes any where from seconds to hours even days and months and for some years. all is important and needed.

here is a special mission file with unlimite height, some death regions taken out, and at the most 2 second ticket count. this file should go well with the shipped maps i altered which have regions taken out. especially rhen var harbor, you can jump while on top of a mountain and not die with this file. this file is not intended to be used to get to high places and snipe unless all parties agree to that play. i want to thank battlebelk for the mission interface tools and all swbf1 modders still around.

we can make mods thru bfbuilder. sometimes we rename the game files to be able to play the mod files. and at times we have to hex edit bfbuilder files to work well. so i ask what is legal? and what is ok to talk about in this forum? what about hex editing game files to work better?

hi, i am able to walk around outside the city of Mos Eisley. i was able to take off the death. the only problem i have is the height limit prevents me from getting over and out side. i am requesting information to look for to be able to take off the height limit.

hi, to all swbf1 fans. maybe not everyone has heard me saying i like to play swbf1. i like to play swbf1 so much. i like playing so much that i want to offer to anyone. if you see me online in xfire just call me and i will play any map or mod map just for fun. i am a pc to note.

i have three mod files i cant give out to others. let me assure captain rex, red, and ag that you would not be so interested in these mod files, because you were not to intersted in these topics. i am deleting them to send a message to the guys that gave them to me. if any fan of swbf1 mods cant have them then i can not either.

hi, this is mike aslo know as cull in game. i plan to change my swbf1 game to be 99% stock. i will be deleting all of the mods i have collected. i had a friend that gave me mods that i couldnt give to others and when i come across those mods i will delete them also. when my friend offers them to the public i dont know if i will be interested in them as i am changing. i just wanted to let you guys know how i am changing.

my pc is so crazy. you ask how crazy is it? my pc is so crazy that it can retexture the tga files of a game in seconds. it is all random when it does it. i mainly play swbf1 and my pc will retexture the whole game play about 50 percent of the time. so i ask how much would that cost if you could put a price tag on it. i am curious to see if you have a cool conversation about my idea of trying to recreate the same out come in a second build. also what do you think the odds are that it can be recreated. i have had similar conversations with an xfire friend phazon. i havent seen him here, so i ask you guys. i know its alot to ask but i am serious. my humor sometimes slips a skip so forgive me sometimes k.

hi, i have this problem with swbf2. i can play online at work with swbf2, but when i try it at home i crash. it happens even on a instand play mode. i wonder if anyone has heard this before and if they might have understanding. thanks

Requests / rebel side ideas running in my head

anything to further the game is good. i am glad requests is here. i would
like to see a rebel side line up and an imperial side line up. the ships are not as
important as the sides.


the gunner        i would like him to be the wookie.


the vanguard      i would like him to be luke with a black glove and to have the force as
                       animation when the rockets shoot. i would like the rockets to be exchanged inplace of them a small object like a piece of a health dorid or ammo droid piece or even a small pipe or control panel part.


the medic pilot   i would like this to be han solo with a shot gun. everything else would be the same.


the sniper        i would like this to be princess leia, it would be perfect if she could be like in the movie when she is dressed skimpy in the jabba the hut escape out fit.



the wookie         i was thinking this could be the gunner from bf2 or a small character
                       that would look cool when used over and over. the object is to pick a small little guy that would look like he is on steroids. the cross bow is fine the morter launcher i was wanting to give the animation of tossing a grenade, no gun.

believe it or not the imperial sides i would just want zombies. i was hopping to find the
mesh of a bloody skeleton in rancors (he is in my short friends list) screen shots.


at times i would like to be able to use the zombie skimesh mod and then when ever i want i can use the regular imperials.

this is what i mean when i use these words
skimesh mod is a mod with skins changes, mesh changes, and weapons changes for the shipped troops in regular game play. the animations may change and weapons gun types may change but the weapon values can not. by keeping the weapon values the same you get the ability to play with others in a server who dont have the skimesh mod. the best part is you wont crash because of the changes.
mod is a file with changes that affect the game
mode is the act of physically changing the game files 
mode is also what is you mode or status or mood at the moment?


i would use this side line up in the standard mod map included in swbf1 version 1.2. its the only mod map every one has and my zombie ideas would fit well

or the zombies can only be the gamorreans and the imperial would be standard troops.

what do we play most? what are the best fun times you have while playing? how did you have fun playing? what was fun about the game play? were others able to enjoy the same fun you were having? all of the answers generated will help bring us closer to what can keep swbf1 alive. i believe mods keep the game play more intersting, but there are so many types of mods. one mod, very fun to play with because it is online compatible is skins. but imagine unit classes with different guns and different troops all together. if you keep the ammo amounts, weapon kill output, and health the same as the original troop then the skins file will be online compatiable. online compatiable with no crash is the best mod, but dont stop there. if you can do this with troops, why not with the shipped map. i found a bes1.lvl file and i thought to exchange it with the shipped world of my game files and i got a different cloud city. in the new cloud city the fountain was gone and the collums were gone and two walls were missing. i soon realized that if stuff could be taken out then stuff could be added and the new map would be online compatible. this was in a dream i had and it didnt help that one night i by chance found a player out back nade jumping in a box room. the thing about shipped worlds is if you keep the ammount of ammo and health and cp in the same place on the map but with extra buildings and platforms under the city or even above the city and have connecting bridges to those places. the thing is if you do that you get a different shipped map that is online compatible with no crash. others can join in your server and not crash and still benifit from the unseen levels and buildings. also, imagine a city or world with a different look all together. i am not talking about drastic changes just a simple swap of tga files that are already in the shipped mod world files. to see the textures all mixed up would be fun to play in. for example the blue lamp texture file can be copied and paste so it is also a part of the walls and or inside the chamber. i am sorry for wanting more. i dont think anyone has to start making the ideas i talk about unless it is easy for them. i hope some guys already have files i described. i also hope to ask for a release of these files.

i am sorry for everything. when i walk in cloud city i want to do more in more places. how easy is it for you? would it be easy for you to make a bes2.lvl identical to the original bes2.lvl but with taller buildings like the one tall building in RCC map? and with walkways leading up to the tall buildings and with connecting bridges between the 4x tall buildings? there could be a 2x tall building then a 3x tall building and then the rest 4x tall buildings and then conect then all together with platforms. there is more but i wait for response.
