Getting this error when trying to install patch 1.2

this is a fresh install so i updated to 1.01, 1.1, 1.11 and opened 1.2 to get this error

well you can go right from 1.0 to 1.2

Next question, was this from a torrent?  If so, the registry items have not been set.   There may be a fix for that.

i didn't try that .. i'll try it now .. no it wasn't from torrent and i've checked the registry and every thing is fine ..

didn't work i can't get from 1.0 to 1.2 still gives the error .. can you please provide me a link for the patch and i'll download it and try again ?

Here is the patch we have:

make sure your 1.0 is English version.

If that does not work, then also let us know what version of Windows you are using (and try installation with XP or win7 compatabilty)
