If I have the SWBF 2 via steam, what can I do?

Hey ppl, I'm having some issues with my SWBF 1 PC CD Edition, I have bought the physical edition with the 3 cd's, but this doesn't work, when I start installing it always crashes, anyone can help me I would like to play again.

But servers are always empty, is there any reason for that?

I have swbf in my default directory. I renamed battlefrontexe file (the gamemaster one) and I moved to LucasArts Folder. Swbf.
Now I click on battlefront (the gamemaster one) and it says 0x000022 error

I launched my swbf and in the top of the game appears 1.2

But I can't view the servers.  Hex file?

How many people plays on tunngle?
Ill wait to gamespy turns on his servers or to a new better way to play

What have you done? Re-installed the Game. Try to install 1.2 SpanishPatch
Has anything almost worked? Nope I have my SWBF older version I can't install 1.2 Patch
Have you tried finding the patch elsewhere? Yes In Gamefront (Down) I found it in  SWBFGAMERS
At point are you stuck on? 1.2 Patch I can't install it (This is the problem)
What are the exact error messages? When I try to install 1.2 Spanish patch it appears: Unknow Error

Please if someone can script the spanish patch to gamemaster installer do it.
Or can someone say how to install SWBF In English edition. I have my 3 CD European EDITION
I think that this will work if someone says how to put SWBF to english version

Anyder, the way you worked the first time because just got lucky, but here are people who have not worked the first time. And since we are using external programs I think is not all as easy as it explained. Understand, if you are in a forum, and you have  bros asking for  help, help them not turn your back
