Figured it out:

Everything you read has been summarized, not all details have been included as I don't think they matter.

X-Fire In game has messed up my PC. If I run xfire in game, then run a game, it has a 50-50 chance of crashing. The next games always crashes. That's why restarting fixed it. I must have had xifre in game going on my second restart. I feal kinda dumb as x-fire has been giving me an error message ever since this happened, I am just too dumb to put 2 and 2 together. I would rather not start XIG because then I would have to restart my PC (again) but is this really common?

Well...

My XIG freezes on a regular basis, requiring me to leave the game to talk, but I don't think it crashes my game. The Classic Xfire, however; crashes all games before they even start.

Well I get a crash report every time I open Xfire, but It doesn't affect my games (I do need to run as Admin to detect though).
