I chose this for the first SWBFgamers featured mod map because it is probably one of the most underated custom maps. It is very fun online and offline. It is a challenge to constantly fight on 2 fronts to hold your ground and not get flanked! You can use various stategies on this map and I strongly recommend trying it out! Really! Give it a download! Try it against a friend with 32 AI!!

looks great :D Good idea for featured mod map Kit. There are so many maps here its hard to tell which to get. This will solve that :tu:
Neat map, I wouldn't have chose it as a featured map though.

This is a fun map. One of my favorites.
As you advance, capturing c/p's, the baddies are right behind you doing the same.
I think the challenge to it is to win by getting all the posts with as many survivors on both sides as possible.
I can't imagine the insanity of a full server with this one.
Lots of respawns from the valley floor, I imagine.
It's a great map for Darktroopers and Rebel Pilots.
Oh and anything that explodes will send your enemies hilariously into the bottomless pit.

In GCW it gives the units the snow gear/look. I like it because it makes the map feel WAY more complete! :)

??? He doesn't exactly have that quality (no offense Kit), very few people are ever worthy of that title.. And Skin mods and ideas don't exactly make you the best modder on the face of the planet...
If you truly understand how much other advanced modders do their work, you would definitely get your answer fast. (again, no offense Kit)

So, if i use leds patch and use the map in multiplayer, will other people be able to play it without the patch?

Well I'm flattered, but as RC pointed out, my ideas/mods are nothing compared to other's contributors. ;) I really do suck at modding and Led and SleepKiller can tell you that I spent hours with them on xfire to get simple things to work. :XD:
Besides, I don't mod anymore and I think my most "usefull/productive" mod was the LoweResolution map replacements. Even then Tirpider did half the work. 8)
And on a different matter, did you guys like how I presented the featured map? Would you like ratings? What would you like me to do differently, if anything? ( Don't suggest maps to make featured though ;) )

Well your asking for feedback, and im more then willing to give that ;D (i love feedback)
1. Give it your own kind of rating, (1-5 stars, 0-100% quality, A-F school grades...whatever). (personal choice if you want that)
2. What kind of map it is, (icy, desert, town....or frontal attack, obstacles ect...). (Also a personal choice)
3. Try to write more like a commercial, because i can't say im excited by the 3 lines you wrote. Type in all the arguments WHY we should play the map.
Because i've only heard the following facts arguments: 2 fronts and various stategies
Secondairy arguments (an opinion) are: its underrated, it's fun online + offline and that the map is a challenge
Try to give more fact arguments why i should play the map...Give a detailed description of the surrounding you play in. Make it sound like something mystic or something like it, something exciting.
(Btw, don't take the feedback as a personal attack, lots of people do that)
Post screenshots of the map and the battles. Also, maybe a screen cap of the map layout. :tu:

I wouldn't deadline it.
Just when you have a good, polished review of a map, showcase it.
Makes it more like a labor of love instead of a press time chore.

I like the way this has worked out. Only just now had the chance to play the map. Took a few screens of my own. My favorite strategy is trapping the opponent in the center of the lower bridge by taking the other cp's. Did anyone notice jets getting stuck at the bottom of the gorge? I played the map twice and a jet got stuck in the same place both times :shrug:
Yes sometimes jets get stuck at the bottom but it doesn't take long to take all the CP's.

If so, does anyone know the file might have been corrupted?
Do you use any other mod maps? Or does it only happen with this one?

yes, too many maps can break battlefront. I think the limit is like 25 or something at one time.

Ahh I didn't realize myself that this map had reached heights.
It's the first mod map I've played.
And like Phobos said, it's really underrated and very fun. I could spend a lot more time playing it. :)
