Round 1 must be finished by January 10th at the latest or it will count as a loss for those who do not battle by then.

Rules and Conditions:
- You must have Tunngle installed in order to play on the dedicated server.
- The server password shall only be known to participating members.
- All battles take place on Mos Eisley. Both teams start with 25 reinforcements and the first player to reach 0 loses.
- Matches are randomly assigned and follows the Challonge Double Elimination Bracket standard
- At least one player must take a screenshot and post a link here after battle so I can update the bracket.
- The server is anti-glitch, infinite ammo, and no CP.
- Two units are available for each player on both teams: rebel pilot and dark trooper. You can use either one.
- 5 second spawn protection
- All mods allowed, including modded xhairs and radar. Questions about mods can be PMed to me directly.
- The top 4 winners will receive awards and possibly other prizes.
- The server will have a slow auto-heal enabled for both teams.
- The server will only be 2 slots except in special cases where both players request an admin present, then it will be temporarily hosted 3 player slots.
- Sides will be decided upon by the players. If they cannot agree on who spawns on which side, admin will assign teams.
- Players may fight matches before previous rounds finish as long as both agree to ahead of time. This will make the tournament not drag out so long.

Match Structure Information:
Players who are matched against each other will have to work out battle times for themselves using PMs or xfire. Each bracket match must be completed before the next round can commence. Players who are unable to fight their opponent within 10 days from when the match is scheduled will forfeit and the match will count as a loss for both players so that tournament progress cannot be unreasonably delayed. Do not sign up for this tournament if you can't commit to at least one duel per week.
Addendum: In cases where one player does not respond they will forfeit and the opponent will automatically win.

Would u rather running from battles and healing as well as waiting instead of getting a player out of hiding with a nade.

I forgot to mention, the server will have a slow auto-heal (mission LUA bonus) for both teams. I also added Match Structure info to the rules section above.

I have hosted servers before with all healing and packs disabled. It imbalances the map even more towards jets. I want rebel pilots to at least have a fighting chance in this tournament. No nades also doesn't seem fun.

And what about a jet which has health packs ?

That would require participants to download a side mod to play in the server. I don't want to force anyone to download a mod to play in this tourney.

You can use controller if you want, but the server will be /noaim, so don't expect any aim assist to work for you.

I've been told it works for trooper, shotgun, pistol, and bowcaster in servers that do not have /noaim, which is all PC hosted servers. It's supposedly built into the game, and pandemic left it there after porting swbf from console to PC either by mistake or intentionally.

update: 13 people have now signed up. i will allow up to 3 more to join before locking the tournament out to any new participants. the bracket will be created on the 31st and players may start fighting by january 1st.

deadlines will be as follows:
January 10th to finish round 1
January 20th to finish round 2
January 30th to finish round 3

It's not a bias. Only 14 people signed up so 2 have to sit out the first round. If 16 people had signed up that would not be the case. The bracket was completely randomized, and half of the participants are FC, I don't see how you could call it biased but obviously you would anyway.



The server is called SWBFGamers-Shotgun-Tournament and I will try to reset the server daily so it doesn't lag.

Check your PM for password, if you can't see the server PM me and tell me your Tunngle ID since it could be blacklisted and I will remove your name if you are.

I trust you completely but it never said anything in the rules so i just wanted to know. It looked a bit of a big coincodence but you have answered that. I dont see the need for this?

Again I don't see how 50% is a coincidence, 14 people signed up and 7 of them are FC. I just hit "shuffle seeds" and then it put the names into the bracket as they are. Blame challonge's randomization algorithm if you must.

U. lost connection to all American server some times, and yesterday, when u left server, Klaos and I suuddenly stopped lagging, coincidence ? I doubt it.

I'm not sure it's possible for me to make you lag? Yes my internet is horrible I think, but when I lose connection it's usually because someone picked up the phone or left voicemail.

thats megabits not megabytes, divide by 8 for ur real speed

As far as I know Sam isn't participating, now if you want a public server set up like this I can do that, but only tourney players should have access to this server, because it requires more resetting otherwise, due to the timer ticking away after the game "starts" while no players are there. You see it was 200 minutes since the server started and no matches actually occurred. If it went overnight and a match started the next day, it would be super laggy already at 1000+ minutes. I will host a public server exactly like this one, with no password if you want to duel other players not involved in the tournament, so please duel them there instead. I dont like english, I dont strive to be good at it I just type the words quickly that I think of in my head. If it was an English Contest maybe I would try harder and rewrite bits but its not.. I think/hope most people knew what I meant.

When I say "Round" I'm not referring to the challonge round 2 top/bottom ladder divisions. Round 2 bottom latter is round 3, since bottom latter didn't even start until round 2. Just consider Round 2 to be what I posted above, with the names in blue and red indicating the matches. That makes it simpler to understand.

I haven't heard from raysfan00 in over 2 weeks so at this point I consider him disqualified from the tournament. If the other round 2 battles finish before Jan 20th then Neon will win the match by default.

I rly hated the starting fight with SirPimped, who lagged, ran, when he had low low health ran, spammed,said he was gonna play lame (as he did, spamming nades)

You were removed from the blacklist yesterday. You need to restart tunngle for it to take effect. The server also probably needs a reset.

Those people in the tourney were unbanned as soon as they told me their tunngle name. But since they are rude to FC in our own servers, they will probably be re-banned once the tournament is over. You have been rude many times to us but this is not the place to discuss it. We have our reasons for banning you and the only reason you currently aren't on blacklist is because you are in the tournament.

I'm tired of the way people change during duels. They get angry, they change the way they play, and they attack the other player with verbal insults. This is why I don't duel. It's a waste of time. I have little time to play this game anymore, and I'm not going to spend it being attacked for just playing for fun.

I'm sorry the match wasn't enjoyable for you. I understand what you are saying completely, and agree that duels do not fully represent who is better than who. This tournament was made mostly for fun and to see some competition with dark jets and rebel pilots.
