REQUEST: Waterloo

Hey, i was wondering if any modder would find it interesting to make a Waterloo map, or any other ancient battlefield. It would be awesome to see those back in SWBF. For myself i'd love to play a good made map of Waterloo, but thats only if its makeable.

I've been waiting for an excuse to make a historical battle...

In terms of possibility the troops and weapons would be somewhat possible but horses and cannons etc would not be due to lack of models.
The battlefield itself would be fairly easy since it's fairly blank. But it might be a tad dull.

What about a historical battle... translated into Star Wars? This would entail having a similar battle in SWBF but with Star Wars weapons and stuff.

You should do a historical battle from the EU! Has anyone ever read heir to the empire or the following books? How about an endor: shied bunker, where you fight INSIDE the bunker and make it the size like it is in the movie!!

I would use rebels vs rebels and just reskin them differently. Probably not too hard for you, since you have lots of rebel skins. ;)

Ive always wanted to play a WW2 battle on battlefront. It would be fun killing Nazi's....  :whip:

There is a d-day type map that's already made and it's actually really cool/fun!

Funnily enough a trench battle was what I had in mind. I'd do it based of the "El Alamein" map from COD2 (from back when COD was fun).

It would be awesome to play as a regiment or something like that, so that you would get something like: Imperial Guard vs 45th Rifle Regiment (with muskets, bajonets, handgranate ect).
Or if done a WW 1 or WW 2 battle, you'd have automatic rifles with mp44s and lugers and such.

I`m not sure,I just check that mod sometimes,I play swbf2 just with mod maps,so, I suggest you to ask one of the guys that is making the project
