The wine version I am Using is 1.9.11
but that is on ChaletOS Linux distro
I use that just for playing SWBF1 I
never bothered to put that version of
wine on my ZorinOS 12.1 witch I use
for everything else on that is wine
1.6.2 (don't use its worthless) so
all in all try wine 1.9.11 I will
be trying more wine versions
in the meantime. it would be
faster if my internet was

Edit: you might also try wine 1.5.3 i hear that works well for SWBF1
but I don't know I haven't tryed it yet

Hi I was able to get swbf1 to work online.

the resion you cant join is that swbf1 (or 2)
loads too slow.

try a different wine versions. some versions
work better than other. I think intel prossesers
are better for swbf than amd on linux. but in
My opinion I like amd prossesers better.

tell me if that works. 

and removing the load files will decreace
load time. and if it take over a minute or 2
to load it it might not be able to join. on
my Linux it takes about 1 min to load
some mod maps still won't work tho
I was able to get swbf1 to be able to
join any map on my intel pc running
Zorin 12.1 Linux distro but unfortanitaly
its hard to get its network card to work
so i don't use it much.

Microsoft has A ton of back doors just waiting for a hacker to discover.
if you use Windows than you are simply not safe from these threats.
how ever there is an alternative and its Linux just try it. (you could use mac to but i think some of us can't afford it.)

yes well um. for most people i guess that would be good but after all there was GWX(get windows 10) update.
so if I am using a windows OS i have it set to not install updates automatically. so i can choose what ones i want.
but yes anyway you defenitaly need to keep your PC updated regardless of what OS your using

oh and Led if you can use Linux on your servers instead of Windows it would make you A lot more secure.

I don't know about glowing but on kamino map in the world fx file there is this:


GroundEffect("rainsplash");
GroundEffectSpread(6);


i have replaced rainsplash with explosions and it worked
this is used as rain drops hitting ground on kamino but
if you put an glow efect there it will glow at the ground near you
but make sure your glow efect expires fast so it is not there forever
otherwise you will run out of efects but it will be on all terrain and not
just on certon textures. thats the best anser i can give

but i don't know how to make a texture glow maybe if you look at .optinon
files you will find something other than that i have no idea.

unfortunately I can't play SWBF2 online. I use linux and the load times in wine are too slow for me to join. 
I can only play swbf1 online but thats all I mostly play anyway. if I ever get swbf2 to be able to join an online server

Okay than. i'l look into the grapleing hook and see if i can make it more stable. I Seriously doubt I can. but if I find anything i'l tell you

my hopes for this map:
    the royal naboo starfighter should be flyable
    the windows should be breakable
    and they should have grapleing hooks (like the movie)
    and some kind of story mode or something for the clone wars

so far its still totaly awesome. good job sereja  as always.

I figured out what the problem was it was the name "Lettet-Forsøgs" the danish letter "ø" is not suported with ZEtools or with msh but if i change name to "Lettet-Forsogs" then it will work. I was doing every thing else perfectly and what i meant by hp_junk was hp_fire and dummyroot stuff i use nulls.
and I have watched your videos they were the only ones i could understand
