SWBF1 Modding / Enabling freecam

I was messing around with the common lvl builder in the lvl builder toolbox. Made my crosshairs, recolored some things. Munged and installed. Played great, loved it. But I went online and within 30 minutes, I realized how much I loved freecam. I was using starkillers crosshairs before. So I'm just wondering, what do I edit in order to get it enabled? I've looked around, and I'm guessing it's the LUA or the REQ, but I really haven't messed much with those before. They're definitely different too, so winging it isn't getting me anywhere.

Requests / ODF mistake

Well, I've gone off and messed around with the odfs. When it's all said and done, I forgot to null out the original values so I'd remember them. I need the odfs for the rebel rocket launcher and the republic rocket launcher. More specifically, I just need the salvo delay value for the rebel rocket, and the shot delay value for the republic. Thanks in advance.

If anyone has done some real snooping around gametoast lately, they may have run across this guy. I've found a model (albeit very a beta model) for a sanghelli elite from Halo. It's a very nice model (skin needs work :P) and it would complement some other great Halo models I have. The readme in the file however mentions a v2.5, with this being v2. I was wondering if anyone knows if VF501 (the maker) ever released it. I've look around Gametoast for it, but it seems this is the only one he released.

If there is no new version, and someone looking for a challenge really wants to take a crack at skinning this guy, the skin included has guidelines or something to help some. I'm horrible with GIMP, so I don't dare try XD.

Does anyone have these assets? I've been to gametoast, but with the download links either not existing or confiscated by the government. I can't get em. If someone has the assets in question and would be gracious enough to upload them so I can get them, that'd be nice  ;)

SWBF1 Modding / A few questions

Hey, I'm really new to modding, and there's a lot of things I've run into a few things that I just can't figure out.

First is probably something that's simple, but I just don't know what to do. I've figured out I can change the .MSH and .TGA files to make my own custom skins and models, but sometimes it doesn't add up. I used a mandalorian model and skin (from a previous request I made) to replace the arc trooper and its skin. I figured out I could rename the files to rep_inf_arc_blue and it'd work. I modded the .ODF to give the heavy a jetpack and take away the jet's jetpack and decided I wanted some sort of arc commander class instead of a jet, seeing as my new mando would take over as ariel assault. I replaced the model and skins with the appropriate files, but the arc model still wants to pull its skin from the rep_inf_arc_blue files, which are the mandalorian skins, so when I munge the rep.lvl up, the arc commander looks goofy. I don't know what's wrong, and would really appreciate some insight and wisdom here.

Second, and this is probably same or similar situation as the first, I don't have a clue how to implement custom weapon models. I .ODF modded the commando pistol to fire like and smg and put it with the heavy class so my mando could use it. I ran across a mandalorian rifle model and skin, but I have no idea how to put it in and make it look right. I can set the commando pistol .ODF to draw its .MSH from the mando rifle, but then I have no idea how to make the .MSH draw its skin from the mando skin. I munge and end up with a black model. Again, I'd appreciate insight and wisdom.

Third, and more of a relative curiosity. How do you change unit and weapon names? I'm sure it isn't .ODF because the tutorials I've read don't mention it nor have I found an appropriate line to change it.

To finish, I use the SWBF1 Modding LVL Builders Toolbox V4b as my methods of modding, so I'm not sure if I have the means to change any of the above problems, but I may and just not know. Thanks to anyone who will shed some light on this.

Requests / Hexedit vehicles out

Ok, I've been having problems with people trolling the crap out of airplanes and tanks in my servers. So I'd really appreciate it if someone could do a man a favor and help me out here.

What I need is for someone to hex edit the .lvl (i think) and take out the tanks and starfighters on the dune sea for swbf1. Keep the bikes. Those are ok.

I also need a hex edit to take out the at st's on Endor, again, cause of trollers. I have a modded .lvl file that takes out all vehicles, takes out brush (which is why I got it), and denies cp capture for endor. This is the link:

I don't know if you can modify this, but if you can, bring back the bikes and cp capture, but leave the brush off. That makes my framerate go down and I like seeing people a mile off XD

I know for sure there's plenty of material out there to do this with. What I want is an online compatible mandalorian skin for swbf 1 that replaces the republic clones with mandalorian mercs. I just want the models and skins changed, don't even have to change the weapons.

For the soldier, a Boba resembling skin without battle damage would be nice. If you can't take away battle damage, it's ok to just to leave it. I won't really care XD

For the heavy, a black armored one or red armored one (if you could get my profile pic, that'd be epic) would be nice. This is my personal class, so any awesome little bits for it would be very cool ;)

For the engineer, I believe a yellow one is in order. Yellow is just nice with engineers :3

As for the sniper, a light blue or teal would be nice. I'm not the best against snipers and want this class the be easily visible for when I'm CIS but still looking awesome for my sniper buddies when I'm Rep.

And finally for the jet. Use the Jango from swbf2 if at all possible. This will let me live out my fantasies as a bounty hunter with my buds XD

I know this is possible, so anyone gracious enough to do it for me, thanks! :3

This is going to be so random to so many people XD. Ok, basically, what I'm looking for is a reskin of the clone rocket trooper for either battlefronts to the form of a lucario.

If anyone actually cares enough to try it, you might be able to use the Brawl model, though I'm not sure. If the Model can be modified, having a wolfish tail would be sweet (look at my profile pic). And also if it's bf2, the tail and the aura sensors on the head need to be free hanging like Aylaa's hair/tail thingies (if possible in bf1, wow, you're awesome). 

In the form of weapons, make sure the body isn't actually holding a weapon, as aura attacks come from energy around the user. Just rename the rocket 'aura sphere' (The rocket should already be blue, which would be fine, and if possible, I'd like the explosion to be blue too), the pistol 'aura blast' (No changes neccesary beyond name change), the nade the 'aura grenade' (a nice blue plasma-nade reskin would be AWESOME!), and the mine could be a poke'ball XD.

With Animations, you can use the push/pull animation for the aura sphere and you could use it for the aura blast (though it might look stupid). Standard animation for the grenade and mine is perfectly accpetable. For someone who may look into bf2, I have a specific animation in mind for the sprint if possible. Something similar to a jedi's sprint but where both arms are held behind the body and without the jumping sprint a jedi has. The only reference I can give you for that is just to watch Lucario and the mystery of Mew and watch how Lucario runs in that. Oh, and any custom animations that make it look authentic and awesome would be some sweet stuff right there (hint hint XD).

Again, if anyone can and would actually do this, that'd be awesome! I hate to sound demanding or pushy, but I can't do it myself since I don't have the resources. If you can't make it online compatible, that's ok. I won't care :3
