So. Halo Reach. Now that the beta's over, thoughts?
Personally, I think this game, in it's BETA stage, is 10x the game Halo 3 was. Hitscan weapons return, the pistol is good again (to a degree), no more slamming the trigger in the general area of an enemy to get a kill... skill seems to be back my friends.
However, I did find some problems. For one, the movement speed is REALLY slow. I thought it was slow in Halo 3, but it's even slower in Reach... lame. This will probably be fixable in the custom options, but I still think Bungie needs to bump up the base player speed to where it was in Halo 1.
Also, even though I'm 100% for reticle bloom, I think it needs to reset faster, especially on the DMR. It seems instead of forcing players to shoot carefully, it also encourages them to spam the trigger at close range, giving them a lucky headshot (and it happens more than it should).
So for the people who play Halo and played the beta, thoughts?
