Hmm, how would you go about doing that? I doubt making an all new ELF file for both of the games will be all that easy.

Sadly, writing an .iso image is'nt as easy.

You have to patch it for PSP somehow...

UMDGen can easily generate an ISO for PSP.

in truth I enjoy this Theed map a lot more than the DICE one. A must-play for sure!

Totally agree, the SWBF2EA map feels really repetitive (probably thanks to the linear game modes, Conquest > Galactic Assault). I love how the hangar is connected to the map instead of being a separate map like EA/DICE's game. Sereja's maps never fail to impress. :)

I dont want to disrespect the author, instead I wish I could use this map as part of the revamped maps I have already put in my mod. If Sereja doesnt want to do this I can understand and I can wait, but it has to be Sereja himself to tell me this stuff, not the administrator of the forums.

Isn't your mod for SWBF2 though (assuming the mod your referring to is The Battle of the Clone Wars)? The map, like all of Sereja's maps, is made for the original Battlefront game so a lua file wouldn't be of any use and most SWBF2 conversions of his maps have to be downgraded in some way for it to run in the second game (removal of objects for example).

I agree with Led though, I know you didn't mean any disrespect but it is kinda inconsiderate to ask for the assets the day of release.

You've done what I thought would be impossible without the source code. Great work!

Well it looks like the microtransactions are being temporarily removed until they make changes to the progression system. Perhaps the loot crates will only contain cosmetics like skins and emotes from now on?

Definitely Battlefront II. It's an improvement in almost every way.

This is where the fun begins! :D

The patch worked great up until recently, but now whenever I launch a match the game simply closes - there are no error messages and no minimized windows.  I can still get to the server list screen, it just won't load the map or even the loading screen itself.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  It seems like this problem is becoming widespread.

Perhaps you disconnected/disabled your mic? I recall SWBF2 having a problem where you needed a mic to be connected/enabled in, otherwise the game would crash before loading. Don't ask why that is because I have no idea lol

You can also enabled Stereo Mix if that's an available option. That's what I do.

Developer Dennis Brännvall says that they're undecided on cross-era heroes. As for skirmish, it will be in the game... but won't necessarily be an exact mirror of the multiplayer game modes. Apparently this is because they didn't want MP to be limited because they had to make the game modes compatible with the AI. It'll be more customizable than the first game. No further details.

Quote from: Incognito on May 26, 2017, 11:06:14 PMAs far as I'm aware, Battlefront seems to use a modified version of the id tech 3 engine.

The first two Battlefront games both use the Zero Engine. Renegade/Elite Squadron uses Asura Engine and EA's Battlefronts use the Frostbite engine.

There's a few Xbox emulators in development but they aren't compatible with most games and any games that are "compatible" have pretty severe issues such as extreme slow-down, graphical issues, random crashes, etc. "Compatible" just means "the game can start up." You'll need an actual Xbox to run these demos or you can alternatively wait a few years and hope those emulators make significant progress in that time. :P

Also, yes, the actual Clone Wars era is in the game, not just the heroes:

Seems to be an error with the animation files. Try replacing the animations with the files found in the BF2 Mod Tools assets.

Don't forget the Venator-class Star Destroyers, Providence Class Carrier/Destroyers, and the Arc-170s that are present in the artwork at the end of the trailer.
