There are four seats to this K-Wing
The Pilot operates some really powerful quad lasers and the purple things
The Co-pilot operates some missiles that psychofred made for a hovernaut and some proton bombs (giving the k-wing bomber fuctionality)
The Bottom Turret has a slow firing but powerful particle cannon (kind of like the ones from BF2)
The Top turret also uses this.
Its also very hard to take down, unless you are on bespin and the k-wing is surrounded by those anti air turrets or the k-wing has barely any health left.
It hovers like a gunship, moves slow.

I know I know, the LAAT is untextured. I'm fixing that.

This is a prototype K-Wing that I am planning on using for my mod. The purple things are little heatseeking minirockets, that dont do much damage as a single volley of rockets, but are fun to use and do damage when you fire a lot of them.
Either Psych0fred or Teancum made the original K-Wing, I just changed the weapons and health when I got the K-Wing.

 I have an idea for part of the mod I'm working on. The idea would change how gunships are formatted. Give feedback or opinion.
The format
Pilot seat: operates the main lasers and rockets.
Co-Pilot seat: maybe have that be more like a reconnaiscance position. The co pilot could send out orbital strikes or recon droids that give off orbital strikes with little to no delay.
turret seats: operates a
slow firing but powerful laser cannon
Passenger: if possible, make it possible to fire your infantry weapon outside (applies to laat/i gunship only).

Ok, i just made it so you play as Wookiees on the first Kashyyyk Mission and Play as the Droids on Kamino (campaign) :)

OK I'm almost done making the sides for my mod, but i have absolutley no idea of making maps.
I'm requesting that someone remake Bespin: Platforms, completley (command posts, spawn points, planning, boundaries, other stuff) because I need to have vehicle spawn points that point to vehicles in my mod, that don't appear in the shipped bespin platforms

Is it possible to change the campaign layout for SWBF and add new maps to the campaign? I'm making a second Sides mod, a much larger scale the firs sides mod.
My idea for a campaign layout (CW era)
Battle of Naboo (CIS vs. Gungans) (play as CIS)
Theed Rebellion (default) (play as naboo guard)
Geonosis: Spire (Play as Clones)
Kamino: Default map (Clones)
Mygeeto (by scum/strike or the lesser known version by gogo12) (Clones)
Rhen Var (Clones)
Kashyyyk (probably use ggctuk's beachead conversion, or Kashyyyk Shores) (Clones and Wookiees)

GCW era
Kamino: Clone Rebellion (came with Main Play Mod) (Play as 501st vs. Clones)
Naboo: Plains (Stormtroopers vs. Naboo Guard)
Tatooine: Dune Sea (Stormies vs. Rebels vs. Tusken Raiders)
Mos Eisley: Stormies vs. Rebels)
Yavin 4 Arena: (Play as Rebels)
Hoth: Rebels
Bespin: Escape
Bespin Platforms: Rebels
Endor

I have the mod almost finished, but I would like to be able to change the map layout to something like this.
The Units
Clones: Phase 1 Clones, ARC Troopers and Clone Commando, 41st, 501st, Prototype Stormtroopers, Shadow Troopers, Galactic Marines
CIS: Trade Federation Droids, Default
Empire: Scout troopers, Regular Troopers, Imperial Commandos, Imperial ARC Troopers, TFU Stormtroopers (Officers, Darktroopers, and Jet Troopers)
Rebels: Urban, Desert, and Snowsuits. Rogue Battle Droids, Rogue Clone troopers

There are also new vehicles (K-Wing, AT-RT, Imperial LAAT, etc).

Kashyyyk Islands, and Kashyyyk Docks crash on me everytime I open the maps. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what causes this?

Does anyone know if it is possible to take a munged lvl file (like bes1.lvl) and literally "de-munge it", (turn it back into odf, msh, and req files)?
I'm asking about BF1 not BF2.

I hate to say this, but my computer, w/ all my SWBF files, and mods, died on me before I could upload. I will have to start from scratch again  :censored:  >:(

I made a mod, my very first attempt. it uses some of ggctuk's skins and his jedi interceptor, and a chaingun. i have jedi units for the clones and rebels, and all the sides have either reskinned or modded weapons. I gave the droid gunship another seat so it has four seats, ggctuk's jedi interceptor can go ridiculously fast and has better missiles and lasers. The Y-wing is no longer a bomber anymore. It serves as a gunship.
