It is limited, they are only handing out a certain number of codes at random to those who signed up for updates from EA.

The Star Wars Battlefront III fan remake: "Galaxy in Turmoil" is heading to Steam! I had never heard of this particular remake before, but this article caught my eye. It kind of shocks me that Steam would even agree to do this, I mean the legality of this is questionable at best. At any rate though, it sounds like a neat idea.

For those of you who won't bother to read the article, I just want to point out that it is not available now and there is no indication of when it will become available.

In order to join our private board here, we have to ask Led to add you, which we will if you want to join us. If you don't want to be a regular member, you can play with us during the ICW as a temporary member, but remember you can't switch teams mid-tournament.

We would love to have you join us, but we may not be able to have our own team this year. However, even if we don't field a separate team you can still play with us, as for example last year we played with YAK. Of course if you don't want to join us that is fine and I understand!

I just want to throw this out there for now, but the BOBclan hopes to participate in some form, though we will likely have to ally with either another clan, or just play with YAK, unless we have an unexpected period of activity.

I want to add a quick note to what you said, a couple of the games in the bundle were just release for the first time on steam today.

They are:

STAR WARS: Rebellion
STAR WARS: Galactic Battlegrounds

I just installed Star Wars: Battlefront, on my new Windows 10 laptop today. Battlefront installed and ran fine natively on the computer. I attempted to install the patch manually, by moving the GameMaster battlefront.exe into the GameData folder, but whenever I tried to run the exe, it asked for a cd, which I already had in the computer. The patched exe is also suppose to be no CD patched. I had read online that Windows issued an update, on all computers with the operating systems 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 that had messed with the CD check functionality, I have witnessed this problem first hand with a couple of older games. I'm not sure if this is the same problem or not. In the end, I just updated my hosts file and was able to access the servers just fine.

I want to make it clear that I would like to join the Syndicate, with or without a clan. I still don't know if the BOBclan will be able to join. Thus I would like to make this my official declaration of my joining. Is there any way I can help get this off the ground?
