Well, I got bored last night, so I looked up some videos on Minecraft.  About 1 hour after watching videos, I went into my good world and started making a castle.  Yes I am using cheats to get the materials, but not the normal ones, I've been forced to use the duplicating cheat in order to get all my stone.  Most people that make these things usually use things like InvEdit.  I can't, because my dads a cheapy and doesn't want to upgrade from Mac OSX 10.4 to 10.5 (Tiger to Leopard I think the names are).  Trust me, I've tried every one of em.  So, I said screw, I'll duplicate all the stuff I need.  Here are some screenies.

So ya, I'm making this castle for MPC, as an experiment and to have some fun.  I'll probably be leaving the front wall and part of the top floor open for lighting purposes.

Since this is a Star Wars related forum, I figured I'd share a Star Wars game.  Ironic, huh?

I've played this game for about 4 months now, and I have to say, theres always something new to learn and do.  Its called the Star Wars Combine.  It is the most advanced SW game on the internet.  Basically, its the entire SW galaxy and universe and lets you decide what you want to do, from the equipment you want to wear/use, to the very building and doorways you step through.

The game is quite advanced needless to say.  I figured I would share this game with some of you, since Star Wars is the forums theme.

If you do want to join the Combine, do know that you have to create a real name.  You can't just put "Vendetta" as what you want your Handle (username) to be.  It took me a few registrations to figure that out

Also, it isn't an instant sign up and join thing, you actually have to be accepted by an administrator, which can be a few hours to a few days to be confirmed.  They will email you saying if you were accepted or not, as well as your temporary password.  You can change the password once you log in if you wish.

My name is Jon Onasi in the combine.  You can DM(Dark Message) me in the combine if you need help, or just message me on here too.  The game is quite confusing and very weird at the start, but it is quite amazingly fun in time when you find good friends, a good faction, and find your destiny

So last monday I get home from school and start up my laptop and everything seemed fine at this point.  I get to the login screen, type my password, then nothing happens.  I wait for about 10 minutes and still nothing happens.  I decide to force shut down and restart it.  I get my startup screen, but after that, I get a completely black screen except for a flashing cursor at the top left of my screen, and thats all thats going on.  It doesn't load or anything.  I force shutdown and restart one or two more times, but I still get the same thing.

I had only assumed that the hardrive just had had enough and decided to crash on me.  I went and put in my Windows 7 disk to see if I could recover, but after a few attempts, I get the 'Cannot locate C drive' crap.  So I went and put in a new hardrive (which was fun).  Started up and cleared the hardrive (my brother used it for Linux, but he doesn't need it anymore) and put Windows 7 Enterprise in.  Started up just fine and installation went smoothly.  Got Steam, Itunes and all the what-nots.


Now, I made you read all that to ask you my question.  The ruined hardrive has some things that were important to me.  I'm asking how can I get my data off the ruined hardrive onto a USP, or something I can store it in, and take the USP to my new hardrive, as the ruined hardrive won't respond in any computer in my house.  I get the same thing as what I got on my laptop, a black screen with a flashing cursor in the top left corner.

If you don't know who I am, or used to be, I was known as NightShade/NightShroud/Traveler 5/ and now known as Blackout.  I've followed this site since, gosh, how long has it been?  a year and a half with MXG and maybe a couple here before I went inactive....  2 years maybe?

Unfortunately, life took a weird twist for me lately.  I moved(again), got a puppy, a long relationship broke up(almost 9 months we dated), quite a few family deaths around the time of our move, and a few other personal things.  But now that things have seemed to calm down a bit, I think I can actually get back on my computer again!  As most of my time has been used up by my pup just to make sure she doesn't go in the house.  Housebreaking took a little longer than we expected, but shes been doing better.

I try to find a good forum like this, but I never succeed in actually finding one that continues to stay active.  Then I remembered all you guys(if you're still here) A-99, Yatter, Love, Bomber, and some others that I can't remember their names
Although I'm not much of a gamer to much anymore(except for the occasional MW2 quick match) I don't play video games as much as I used to.  Hardly any time to play them in the first place.  I find that all the things that I thought were important to me when I was younger, aren't that important to me much anymore.

I've grown up, in terms of saying it.

And as a way of growing up, I find more interests, and found one about a month ago now.  I see that I have a love for making graphics/signatures. I'm always making some new ones.  I also remember some people here that were pretty good at making them as well, so I thought I could get some information from some of you guys as well, since I'm still a beginner.  I'll see if I can get some of my works up later.

So in short terms(or if you really didn't just want to read all that), I'm back.  God how much I missed that whip....

I've been looking for a good Command and Conquer like browser game for a while now.  Just found this one called Ogame, anyone play it?  I have for a few days now and it looks like a promising game.  If anyone would like to join me in playing it, maybe we could make an Alliance and name it MPC .

If you've noticed my recent inactivity, I recently just installed Windows 7 on my laptop.  Everything seems to be running perfectly, the only problem is, my Audio device that was already installed doesn't seem to work.  I'm using an IBM T42 laptop, which has had this problem before, which was only when I was running on Linux, which eventually was solved by itself.  I've tried installing a Windows XP audio, which was recommended by my brother that said it should work but didn't(http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-55386.htmlFrom this site).  Can someone help me?

Well, my birthdays coming up this weekend and my dad keeps asking me what I want. I ask for Modern Warfare for Mac(2 won't be available for mac for quite a while), but when he looks at the system requirements for it, it says its "Recommended" for 10.5, which is Leopard, and I have 10.4.11. Even with many other updates to this software, it still costs $250 for it. My question is, since it says recommended for 10.5, is it required? I've looked all over, and I only find "Recommended" I have all the other system requirements though. If anyone knows if its required, please tell. I'd really like MW.

Hello again!  I found MPC bout a little more then 6 months ago after a long search for MXG.  I see theres been some major updates on the forums.  You may/may not remember me since it was so long ago.  I also rarely play SWBF any more now that my brother is letting me "share" his Steam account to play Modern Warfare 2.  Anyway, hello again!

Has anyone played the game, or just heard of it? Ive seen some gameplay videos and i cant decide if i want to get it or not. Seems a lot like  Assassins Creed, just futuristic. Just thought id ask around here before i go and buy it to find out it sucks, like almost any other game i buy. 

Well everybody else seems to be posting theyre going away for a while, so ill say i am too!
Im going on a cruise for a week and wont be on at all(id bring my laptop, but of course they charge for internet!). Ill  see you all next weekend!

Hi, Im new to the forum. Ive searched long and hard to find this site since MXG went down. Looks like Jedi Killer and Hardcore are running things around here. No more Weili or Wrath? Darn, Wrath was a funny guy. Anyway im here now and thats all i care about. I play SWBF and ill play you anytime now that schools out.
