exploding ammo bot

Hi MPCers,

Something I have never been able to figure out in SWBF is what are the conditions
under which the ammo bots explode?

Sometimes, it is just when I spawn, sometimes it is when ever I need ammo and go near one 

Can a modder or players tell me what triggers the exploding gonk?

Yes, the explosion effect is triggered whenever someone else destroys it and you haven't seen it yet. It has really already blown up- you just haven't had the effect generated until you're close.
