I am using a windows 8 laptop.
I downloaded this template here: http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1371
I did everything in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvDMErhwm9Y&feature=youtu.be and I did what the read me said, however, ZETools is still not showing up. (I hit the update button each time it popped up was I not supposed to do that?)
Do I need the latest version of ZETools for it to work? please help... :(
This is what i do.I just coppy the Addons folder for the ZETOOls and i put it here:
C:\Users\UserName\Autodesk\Softimage_Mod_Tool_7.5
UserName is just my name.Your name can be different. Also the ZETOOLs will uppear on the top middle of the screen. The button will be called ZETools.
It is in that directory.

I did (view the first post I posted, however, I will look again)
EDIT
I think I found the problem. XSI is creating a new path for some reason here: C:\Users\username\Softimage\Softimage_7.5
The new path won't work at all with addons.
It seems to be ignoring the Autodesk path :'(
Ok my Python script that is needed for the ZETOOLS addon is installed in C drive and the folder is called Python26
I don't know for yours.
This is the path of my ZEToolS folder
C:\Users\username\Autodesk\Softimage_Mod_Tool_7.5\Addons\ and the name of the folder of my ZETOOLS plugin is called xsizetools-1.3.0034
More than that i cannot help you.All i know is that other also were having that problem.I was having that problem.I reinstalled my XSI 7.5 around six or seven times before i get the ZETOOLS finally to work.I really don't know why this is happening.
I will re-install then. I also get a folder called Python26 in my C drive
Then it should work but for some reason its not working.Try reinstalling XSI 7.5 i am Windows 7.What windows are you?
