Other people find it more fun to capture CP's, "flank", or play hide and go seek. That's fine. I encourage you to play the way that gives you the most enjoyment. But I would ask that you don't attack the way I play, just because you don't think my way is fun. Why is your fun more important than my fun? I don't attack players for not using radar, so why would you attack me for using it?

I would attack you for using it because it's not the way the game is meant to be played, because it's not implemented in the original game. Ask any cheater of any other game, they will tell you that they have more fun playing with cheats. That doesn't mean it's more fun for people who play the original game.

I can't attend on any of the 5 remaining matches.
In 3 of them I'm playing myself, one of the other ones is during the same time as I'm playing and midnight saturday is pretty unlikely. Sorry.

Totally agree, read them the 4th time now and have to say they are just awesome.
I also read the Old Republic - Revan book by Karpyshyn but didnt enjoy it as much as the bane trilogy, even though I absolutely love the KOTOR games aswell as SWTOR.

Tbh I am not a real fan of modified rules (without special units etc.), but this highlander thing sounds pretty cool.
I could probably get a team together for something like this and I could host EU servers aswell.

But for the ticket count, I can assure you that 200-300 tickets is normal and works well for 5v5. If CPs are captureable ofc.

Do you want to overthink the rules? Because I would personally prefer to play with the 2on2 maps battlebelk did for the esl. They include Citadel, Cloudcity and Jabba aswell. Its basically like this:

-every team has a start cp (uncaptureable)
-there are two grey cps on the map that are captureable
-the ticket bleed is really slow (one cp more every 20 seconds one ticket, two cps more every 10 seconds one ticket)

no spawnprotection, all classes, 35 tickets
I think that would add more action to it.
