Hey guys,
So E3 is coming up pretty soon, I figure we should use this topic for all the announcements we hear.
I'm looking forward to seeing more about the PS3 motion stuff, I haven't really looked up on it much yet. Curious to see if it would be a good buy or not.

Seen the E3 trailer for Force Unleashed 2? Holy cow, Starkiller incinerated the Stormtroopers with a Force Repulse!
here is what i am looking for but may not happen in some cases.
1. HL2 Episode 3 is speculated to be announced
2. New XboX, it has been a pattern for 5 year increments between Console releases and a new xbox is due.
3. Star wars BF 3
4. legitimate CoD7 preview (will be buying for PC)
Gran Turismo 5 I am very excited for. That's probably the biggest game for me. I can't wait for it to be released.
Marvel vs Capcom 3 I am also excited for, however I never liked the 2nd one. The 1st one however was great fun.
Killzone 3, Rage, and Crysis 2 look very interesting, probably the only shooters that I'm interested in this E3.
Other notable games are Dead Rising II, Mafia II, The Force Unleashed II, Rock Band 3 (the new controller has 102 buttons now... lol), and Conduit 2.
Final Fantasy XIV's also making an appearance however I'm more interested in Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
Portal II and Half Life 2: Episode 3... I really don't know what to say. Valve is just really, really weird sometimes.
The new Ghost Recon is also a notable mention, however Ubisoft have really nerfed/MW2-ized their games over the years so I'm afraid it's not going to be Ghost Recon anymore.

Portal 2 got delayed till 2011 Khy :(, won't be anything at E3 about that, Valve canceled their P2 announcement thingy and said they'll be a surprise instead.
I don't think they would come out with a new Xbox, since they are announcing "Project Natal" for the 360. And I don't see what they would improve with a new Xbox other than graphics (if it's possible)

are you familiar with anything Valve does lol? Of course there will be something Portal at E3. It being delayed to 2011 will affect almost nothing; games that are coming out in several years are previewed at E3.
just because it is a surprise doesnt mean it is delayed. it means valve is gonna make the release date...a surprise.
Portal 2 was already announced to be delayed, I'm not too surprised. Some games have it worse however. Duke Nukem Forever was in development for 10 years until they ran out of money, fired everyone, and canned the project.
Half Life 2: Episode 3 I'm far more interested in than Portal 2, which has been delayed for too many years (for an episodic game) that most people already assume it won't see the light of day.
Right now, I really don't know what the surprise will be from Valve and I don't have much clues to find out what it is.
we just know it is gonna be good :D

Microsoft press conference.
Black Ops level was AWESOME. helicopter chases in vietnam.
Also just announced that microsoft and activision has struck a deal.
For the next years to come, all call of duty DLC will come on xbox first.
Project Natal renamed Kinect.
First game for Kinect being shown off is Metal Gear Solid Rising.
Cut things with your arm. Anything in the world is "cuttable"
Four player online co-op for GoW3 being shown now.
Able to give weapons to players, pick up dead players (revive)
And much more things.
New worlds, etc.
Gameplay seems a bit similar to the first 2 but still awesome.
So basically what is going on at the microsoft press conference, is gameplay for 360 exclusives (maybe a level)
The games will also have stand at other parts of e3, but this is the big press conference being shown on tv.
Halo reach campaign being shown off... looks AMAZING.
The graphics are a step up from the beta and its beautiful.

Hand and voice recognation for evertything.
It's really cool.
You can watch a movie and fast forward with your hands.

Fitness, dancing, action sports, adventures, etc.
I actually might get this. It looks amazing.
Kinect reminds me of a certain console that has a lot of crappy games because it tried to appeal to the casual crowd. I know that core gamers won't care too much about the Kinect but it might impress the gullible casual crowd.
I just don't want to make the same mistake as being interested in the wii because Twilight Princess made me believe that it has its share of actual games, however overtime, that didn't come out to be so.

Star wars kinect game!
All being shown is jedi fighting off storm troopers and vader but its with kinect, so actually pretty cool.
If you rewatch the star wars section closely, you'll see that the video is full-motion and it isn't corresponding to the action. That whole thing was fake, but I'm not too surprised.

Well, I watched the EA conference. The only things that looked good were the Old Republic (awesome new trailer like the last one they did) and Medal of Honor. Otherwise, lots of boring stuff or things that I didn't particularly care about.
I was surprised that they did not have the ex-Infinity Ward guys come up on stage and talk about whatever they are developing. That was a major win for EA and I'm surprised they did not flaunt it.
Excited for Sony and Nintendo tomorrow. hopefully they'll have a lot to talk about. :D

Also during an interview right now on g4, the guy is telling the interviewers that instead of killstreaks, there's score streaks, which is pretty cool.
kk, now that I have Windows I feel like have a lot of options here. definite buys are bc2 Vietnam and cod7 and if I get an xbox ill be getting halo reach and gow

Well, the Nintendo conference is in less than an hour. Looking forward to seeing what they're announcing.
I expect a surprise from Nintendo :)
And as for the Left 4 Dead 2, I expect in Episode one they find the lab that turned the first zombies and mutated the others also find that it has a portal that sends them to Left 4 Dead: Season 3: Episode 8, where they in turn see that they are the only people left and so they set off a massive explosion aimed to kill every zombie in miles after they go into the militery base bomb shelter (ultimate sacrifice, someone dies), then they go on the offensive with bigger and better weapons then ever, with tanks, helicopters and lots and lots of cocktails, they plan to kill every zombie left.

Activision already had their conference last night, I believe. It wasn't anything special. I don't think they announced anything new for CoD7. if they did, it's probably up on Gametrailers.
I'm curious how good the 3DS is at doing 3d. The way they presented it, it looks sort of like a hack of some kind. I hope it's not a lame thing, but the people who have seen it before seem to have been impressed by it, so I guess we'll see what comes up later.
Zelda looks really good. I'm excited for that, though the controls seem a little finicky to me. Maybe it was just the stage demo thing, but I hope the controls improve a lot when it gets released. Kirby looks cool, Donkey Kong looks pretty awesome, and the 3DS I'm still reserving judgement on.
Not too hyped for Sony. I doubt they will be announcing anything too big, but who knows? They might end up stealing the show.
SOCOM4 for Motion looks cool.

The new Zelda's a bit too colorful after playing TP. The 3DS is very impressive to me, the ability to make it 2D is my favorite.
Nintendo did a fair job this year. I missed Sony's conference however.
Also Goldeneye seems impressive, hopefully this time they'll get the Wii FPS controls done right.
I missed Sony's conference, but it doesn't really seem like they announced anything of much importance. Just Move pricing and some various sequels, right?
Skyward Sword is apparently a lot better than it seems like in the tech demo. The trailer looked somewhat boring and generic, but I'm sure it'll have the normal Zelda storyline and the like, which should make it a lot more fun to play. All the Zeldas have bad trailers, it seems. The 3DS is also apparently very impressive, and it actually does do glasses-less 3D. That's pretty awesome. I doubt I'll buy one, but all the same...
Going to E3 is something that I've always wanted to do. It looks like an awesome show and it seems like a really cool place to be for one of the most exciting weeks in gaming.
