So if I want the sniper to fire like a blaster rifle how should I do it? I mean I been playing around with .ODF files just to celebrate for myself that I've made a successful mod of my own.
open the blaster rifle ODF and copy some stuff over to the sniper rifle ODF, munge and see what happens. It will be the best learning experience for you if you experiment.

Yeah I did that, the sniper fired like a blaster but shoots only once in 8 rounds lol anyway I can change that lol? I can learn a lot from you.
So another thing you can do is use the rifle ODF and change the model to sniper rifle, etc.
