That was very well done. I would try my hand at drawing on a tablet, but I just can't do it right. I'l stick with my photo manipulation techniques.

Yes, it gets very awkward having to look away from where you're drawing, but you definitely get used to it - it just takes some time. Since my computer failed, I got stuck using my laptop and really it's a little more comfortable XD

I have my tablet right next to the laptop as i sit in front of it, and my wrist feels better than when I was using my desktop... still need to get a new one...

Also, I tinkered with my Revan thing a bit on photoshop and came out with this:

I'm very satisfied with it :D

At one point I turned off a few of the layers while making this and I ended up with this:

Creepy... but I could make something out of this o.0

Dang that's sweet! How did you do it?

With photoshop and a tablet. I still have the photoshop file and most of my process lol. I reduced the actual size to not take up so much damn space on this post.

First I started out with a thumbnail - a very rough idea of where things are gonna be and what the silhouette will be like:

Then I make a little cleaner and detailed rough over it while adding and removing some things to it/from it:

I repeat the process and get a cleaner one over that, I have to be sure of the details of it and keeping mind of the gesture :D

I decided to stretch the figure and move him a bit

Now I don't know where I messed up, but I was suppose to darken the figure and erase dark parts to match the lighting coming out of the lightsaber, but I messed up somewhere. I lost that part of the process but I made a quick recreation of what happened. I added a background in, I think.

Then I colored it from there and clean up a lot of the sketchy lines while making slight adjustments - I lowered the belt buckle and moved the arm back a bit:

I darkened the places not exposed to the light, giving it a three dimensional look and added a red tint over it to match the lightsaber color and I'm done. :D

Remain calm and take your time with shots. Getting angry makes you too hasty and staggers your focus

If you feel that the game's default button mapping is uncomfortable or kind of makes things difficult for you, switch around the button mapping settings. For example: to switch secondary weapons (grenades, mines, etc...) the default button is "G". For me, I felt that it did not feel right to have to get my finger over one button in order to press another next to to switch secondary weapons. Instead, I set it for "F" (default: switch primary weapon) to make it easier for me; I change primary weapons by using the scroll wheel anyway. I've made more customizations to my button mapping but I only wanted to give a simple rundown and not confuse you.

Use pistol often, you'll be surprised by how useful it is.

Understand your weaponry. Know their reload speeds, timing between shots, and round size. Don't worry, after playing for a certain amount of time, you'll understand every weapon like the back of your hand - unless you wear gloves all the time. Just keep playing as a certain class in a certain way all the time until you become comfortable enough and develop enough confidence in yourself to try out new strategies or classes. We all started out as n00bs and we all have the ability to discover our potentials and perhaps even surpass them. :]

Learn by watching other players; either playing against them, with them, or even watching other players POV in their videos on YouTube. You'll learn their movements - even while playing against them - and will be able to understand their strengths and weaknesses to capitalize on and implement their moves/tactics into your own playstyle.

I might find a pre-made model out there that's more similar to it, with shoulder pads etc, but until then, this is it baby.
haha i can wait. i'm a patient person :P

Very nice. If you guys ever find a modeler to add on the other stuff (shoulder pad, ammo belts, whatever else that is possible) to make it look even more like Emile and decide to work further on it, let me know! I'll look forward to it. I know stuff like that takes a lot of time, but I can wait. :D

Thank you, very much! ^^

I fear that this may be too much to ask, but I figured why not let's give it a shot...

Is it possible for someone to make the darktrooper look like or near identical to Emile from Halo Reach (online compatible).

For Reference:

Close-up on helmet design and paint:

Better view of helmet

Front view of Emile

Back view [action figure] (most of this will be covered by the jump pack)

OPTIONAL (Three things)

1. If you can make the Darktrooper's Jumppack fit with the design of Emile's Design (just a reskin of it no need to change the model), it would be good.

2. Another model with Emile's armor white: Helmet (leave the visor black so the skull paint would still show) Armor (just the armor part is white, the underlying mesh would still be black), Jumpack would change, too.

3. A model of his shotgun as well, if you can. If not, alright.

If this is all too much to ask for, let me know and I'll understand. Sorry, I'm just a huge fan of this design and wish for it to be in a game that I play most often.

Thank you for whoever decides to work on it and I'm willing to wait for all it takes to make. :D

Darktrooper.

Use to hate them--both kinds. I, however, have now grown to love Darktrooper within the past year and now have grown indifferent towards the clone jettrooper. I will criticize the clone jet in that it's very easy to get a kill (just shoot the floor where the target is, for the most part). At least with Darktrooper it actually requires some good aiming to kill a target in one shot.
