To be honest, they're lately inactive but I guess cause a lot of people are on holidays and probably not at home.
That is literally impossible. That would require uploading probably 1TB of mods lol, so I'd forget of that as well, besides some people do not like to play with mods/modmaps (the EU Community consider mods as hacks)
You are free to rent a VPS or a full rootserver and host them if u want, but I already host about 14 servers (most with no mods as EU players dont like it) and unless I find it completely necessary I wouldnt host more cuase it is a "waste" of RAM. Also we never stopped hosting so I didn't understand why we would have to "reopen" (?)

Hmmm..i understand your statement, i know that it's most likely not gonna happen but still, what if we upload a few good mods out there and then open the servers for SWBF II?, Can we do that? (with a few mods i mean maybe 5 to 15 or so) , that would be great!

Hello Modders and Players.

I have a Question: Is it possible that you guys can make SWBF II also Multiplayer  with Mods?

I know that this is a big question but is it possible?, because i love both games (i'm sure most of you do)
and it also has amazing new features like maps, modes and era's and tons of new classes.
I was also notified by a friend that most players use mods to play the game like ''Dark Times Mod''
''Battlefront Extreme'' and many other mods.

If you don't have the mods, you cannot join servers wich have mods enabled.

But another issue is that the servers for SWBF II are dead right now.

So my idea for both issues can result in a possible reopening for SWBF II servers.

1. My idea was that someone posts a download with all SWBF II Mods out there and post it in a rar. file for everyone
to install (if you have the game) and then copy it in your SWBF folders , then you have the mods installed
in your game.

2.Second idea was that you guys could (possibly) reopen the servers like you did on SWBF I, with the mods enabled
on every server with each map of your choice, then it's possible for everyone to enjoy the reopend servers of SWBF II, with the tons of new content to play with mods!

If you guys could do that then that would be amazing!, then we could also make ICW Tournaments on that side of SWBF II and let our community grow more and i'm pretty sure it will because there are lots of players on GameRanger who play SWBF II so it can be possible!

That was my idea, be sure to reply because i need every awnser of you guys!
