Someone at DICE did a Q&A on twitter ( https://twitter.com/EAStarWars ), he shared many information :

- The game will use its own ingame server browser ( no battlelog? )
- More Heroes to come
- Customizable characters to a certain extend
- Unlocks and collectibles system
- No MAC version planned
- Millenium Falcon and Slave 1 playable ( to be confirmed, but they will be in the game for sure )

Anything that can't be reproduced easily ( side mods, interface, etc )
Prioritize modmaps, and creative content.
Retrieve anything that served as a base to modding.
SWBF2 eras mods.

Definitely better to have an environment than to play in a black sky with start!

I often will just put my Pen and Touch Small on the desk and draw from there, standing up is necessary, or I will put it against the edge of my table if I want it to be inclined.
I personally do not think investing money in a QoL change is quite worth it, as you can build a stand yourself or find a workaround.
