Found out how to do this on accident some years ago. I call it the 'drunken soldier." It will only work if you back straight off the bar. When you jump it sets you straight again that way you can go have another round!  :cheers:

heres somethin cool i figured out how to do a couple years ago that i dont think ive seen anyone else do before. If you nade jump onto a fighter and enter immediately, when you exit you will be doin this flying through the air animation while able to move around, shoot, and lay mines. Jumping or rolling will take you out of it, and i think getting blasted back into the air too. I tested takeing off flying around and landing instead of getting out right away to see if it would still worked, but i dont remember if it did or not so worth trying. I dont think i ever got it to work with vehicles, turrets, or gunships.

it seems that some units and fighters are easier then others to do this with, i think reb rocket was the easiest for me on the xwing.

probs didnt insert the vid right so here is the link http://beta.xfire.com/videos/47e3b6?

Interesting. I've had this happen to me a few times:

I don't really know why it happens.

I have had that happen also, not for that long though. Usually rolling repetitively makes it happen for me.

I've had a similar thing; http://www.xfire.com/video/5d0e24/
I think it was something to do with being caught between a snowspeeder and a wall.

I also had this happen to a ship (it went on for a while before I started recording);

Yes that exact thing happens to me a lot.

I often seem to "break" my rolling animation when I roll in circles and cause my unit to slide around in a kind of diving position.

I've had that happen before. I could have sworn I took a video of it, but after I looked through all my files, I could only find the one. Very cool with the ship though. I haven't really seen that before.

Does anyone know why the mine glitches happen. Where someone steps on a mine and the explosion goes on for ages whilst the player is in the air

Though I'm not sure, if I'm playing on a map like Kashyyk: Docks, and I'm up on one of the tall towers, I can get shot by a rocket that I tried to roll away from, I'll fall of the dock in a fast rolling motion in the video, and it will happen on the ground, me walking/rolling around. The second part of this glitch is the fact that I was hit by the rocket so I have zero health when I hit the ground, and any other damage would kill me. >This glitch has only happened to me twice. Both online playing PLA-Battlefront before Gamespy cut.

I have noticed that it seems to happen more when you throw a friendly mine at an enemy mine, and I have never seen it happen more than once in a game.
