Love your desktop!! Random fact: If you deliberately remove the stock desktop pictures from the OS, it will be all black by default. So deliberately remove them... it's true barebones! :P

Apologies for the several month bump on the topic, I just figured I would show yas what my desktop looks like as of right now. :P
U_U I forgot to post mine, ill do it tomorrow (if i dont forget again x) )
I use pretty much all custom settings. I even have Starwars sounds instead of system sounds (yes, this means I had to record each one I want, then add them one by one :P)
I used a picture I took a couple weeks ago, which I'm sure you can tell what it is.
How can you guys stand the gadgets? To me they clog up the screen too much :P Not sure about the menu bar on the top RC, I am tempted to try it. :moo:

I actually just recently figured out how to add the gadgets to my screen. I know, seems like an epic fail when I've had this thing for about 3 years... Anyways, I kind of like how it is at the moment, I'm unsure if I will end up removing them or not.
If you want, I can show you what it looks like without the gadgets, though that seems pretty self explanatory at the moment. :P
I could show yas my iPad's Home Screen though if you would rather. ;)
Say Roxas, how did you manage to change the font-type on your desktop and folders? Just wondering.
The way I accomplish it, is right click on desktop background, go down to personalize, click window color and appearance, then find the Advanced appearance settings button, from there you can find Icons the the drop down menu, and change the font size and color.
My desktop used to be of Scarlett Johansson, now it's a cross section of a Breda Ba. 88 (plane from WW2). Im not sure why I changed it to that...

Hmm, I think because my OS is Vista and yours is 7, the two have different things. When I go to Personalize, Window Colour and Appearance, I don't have any Advanced Appearance Settings button. Anyways, I'l try again, hopefully I come up with something.

I quite often drive a slightly bigger tractor than the one in the picture but the machine on the left starts at £200,000 to buy so we hire them in and I avoid touching them. ;)

I have a font kinda like that too, it's called "Street" but it's not quite the same as Mandolorian font.

Here is mine, it is pretty much a cluttered mess of half finished projects. I would prefer it to have nothing on it at all but.... I also like to keep to the black backdrop so I can have the invisible folders :happy:

It's actually Aurebesh, hand-written Aurebesh. I was waiting for Kit to try and guess it, but that doesn't seem to happen. :P
Anyways, I can decipher Aurebesh, however it takes a bit longer for me to read that rather than plain ol' english. I actually changed the font to something else, It's now Verdana I believe. :P

Darn I was too late to say it was Aurebesh. I've used loads of the stuff for my Common.lvl.

Actually i use windows 8.What i did was install a program called Rainmeter,go to DevianArt.com,search for rainmeter and download the theme you want.Take a look in youtube how to install and use the themes if you need help.
I have rainmeter too and a really nice setup, but I disabled it because of the startup time. That, and it kept causing my audio driver to go haywire on my CPU. As for the whole custom font thing, I did it the way Gold did it by going through advanced in the Personalize window. I haven't been able to change the color of the folder names though. I don't feel like going through the trouble of using a third party.

If anyone's wondering, the font is Oracle, and the wallpaper is actually some photo that a_speck_of_dust took to promote his Lotashi Z: X Province map. For anyone who has SWBFII by the way, I'd advise checking the map out! It's currently hosted on FileFront for the moment, unless you prefer I upload it here. :P
