In the Conversion Pack mod for SWBF2, one of the many new force powers introduced in it's KotOR sides is "Burst of Speed", which will cause the user to dash forward upon pressing. Upon examining the odf for it in the released source, it uses the "areaeffectweapon" classlabel, which I think is used for buffs and therefore can't be used in BF1. Which brings me to the question: Is the basic idea behind this power still possible in BF1?

SWBF1 Modding / Custom shell.lvl crashes.

Using Phobos' builder, I tried to modify missionlist.lua as a personal mod for my own convenience, and as a prototype for a real mod I'm making (more on that later). However, this custom (global) shell.lvl crashes the game before the logos even appear. Missionlist was the only file I changed, and I made sure all the models and textures from "Data\shell\msh" were copied over to "Custom\shell\msh".

I'm trying to add additional classes to my mod the way Napseeker did in his Jedi vs. Clones mod (by making them "dispensed" like a recon droid.). However, this has proven to be difficult, as the game immediately crashes when the unit dies. Has anyone found a way to stop this from happening?

SWBF1 Modding / Particle Editor crashes on start.

I am trying to use the particle editor from snake's ultimate mod tools, but it crashes every time I try to start it. I made sure it was in BFBuilder\Data. I have tried putting binkw32.dll in it's folder, as well adding a "_LVL_PC" folder \w core.lvl. And i've tried opening it with 3D-Analyse emulating HW Tnl Caps (which worked for Zeroeditor). What am I doing wrong?

So, I've finally figured out how to use ZE. (mostly) And I wanna make a holiday reskin of Naboo: Theed. One thing I want to do is cover the gound in a thin layer of snow. But for some reason, the snow texture I added (which I named "naboo2_main_2.tga") won't show up in ZE or in the game. How do you get new terrain textures to work? Or is it even possible to do at all?

I'm trying to copy over a 2GB-ish video from a memory card onto my NTFS hard drive but I keep getting the "Parameter is incorrect" error message. The only solutions I have found are for 4GB+ files on FAT32 drives. Any idea what the problem is?

In this video I'm showcasing Naboo: Otoh Gunga by the ever-amazing Seraja. Based on the Gungans' city from Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Sereja fails to disappoint with breathtaking views both in and outside the bubbles. Gameplay is well polished as always, albeit being a bit too spread out. The Gungan locals have all new weapons that are much more movie-accurate, and are playable via an alternative mission.lvl included in the download. The map can be played in both Clone Wars (shown) and Galactic Civil War era, each with Sereja's custom sides. This is visually one of the best maps I've ever played for this game.
