Hi

i have 2 macs at home and both with swbf.  one g4pb and a mbpro.
when i host from one comp the other cant join.
i can find the game but it does say under maps  missing:jibberish


what could be the problem.

can you be specific with the missing:jibberish part?  is it really jibberish or a map name?

I would suggest reinstalling, it could be a corrupt install.

I'm just gonna chime in. I'm not very tech savvy but...  one comp is an Intel processor the other is a PowerPC processor, would that have something to do with it? Also, I remember something about only one comp to an IP address. Also I could be out in left field here.
