Well there's no space battles... but honestly this looks more intense/fun than repetitive bombing runs on the enemy capital ship.
Definitely better to have an environment than to play in a black sky with start!

I'm sure if they did add space battles though, it would be a lot better to the point where they can literally destroy the enemy's fleet. But come to think of it, SWBF2 is pretty boring for that, I just liked going around dogfighting as shown in this gameplay video.
