true, but having windows mouse settings on a different setting to 6/11 feels mega weird

Is there any way to change in-game sensitivity without using the slider? Perhaps maybe through a game/config file somewhere

i suspect that once the no cd patch for 1.3 is made and distributed more players will be there. i plan on hosting both 1.3 and 1.2 since i prefer 1.3 so far it is much nicer, but most players are used to 1.2 and will continue to play there. it will be easy to switch between both versions using batch files or maybe a new custom res launcher for 1.3
heres link to my comparison notes http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=7975.msg86014#msg86014

yeah just read this thread. seems pretty cool. I hope everyone will move once the nocd patch has been made, just seems like a much better multiplayer experience. Less sponge-ing/more shots registering... If you say it feels more like single player, than multiplayer then that should be enough of a motivator really (id hope)

Star Wars Battlefront (2004 Original) / 1.3 Patch
July 16, 2014, 03:44:54 AM
:censored:, seems like the 1.3 patch wouldve fixed the  :censored: multiplayer game...

http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/Battlefront_13_Patch_Beta;40940

Description:
This is a US only full client patch and you should have the 1.2 patch installed for it to work properly. The final 1.3 patch should be released in a few weeks but in the mean time, install this patch and give it a try. Post any bugs you encounter and I will let the developer know.

This is basically what is fixed,

CHANGES FROM 1.2
-------------------------------------------------------
Multiplayer

* Unlocked frame rate
* Better tolerance of latency spikes and frame rate spikes
* Fixed an end of game hang
* Better smoothing of predicted positions and orientations
* Allow more maps specified from dedicated server command line
* Better Droideka prediction
* Added remote admin support for those hosting dedicated servers
* Tighter clock synchronization under normal conditions
* Fixed joining servers behind most firewalls
* Allow more mod maps (was 50, now 512)

Global

* Fixed CIS Pilot shooting backwards

Pity it seems to never have been released/adopted by anyone at any stage #yolo

Try playing in the Options with the Online Settings perhaps? "Search All Regions"..."Hosting Bandwidth"..."Ticks Per Second"...

Maybe...

yeah i had search all regions off for some reason, so i turned that on, now i can see the UEF servers ontop of about 4-5 that i was seeing before. The other settings didnt do anything - i think they are hosting settings really

Ah i see

and Yeah gamemaster works for me, but i never really see the full amount of servers on it., hence the 62percent
#8
Hmm maybe,

Ive tried disabling my firewall, reinstalling the game/resetting router, also joining the servers I cant see by Direct Connection IP doesnt work either which is weird

(i didnt have this problem with tunngle weirdly enough)
#9
Yeah that used to work way back when, not anymore though

Hi,

Whenever i connect to the swbf server list using the modified .exe, when i click 'join' to see the list or 'refresh' to refresh it only says 62percent as the number most times. Sometimes it shows less than that, like 56 and so only shows me 4 servers. Now and again though it shows me the full list having connected at 99percent but this is very very rare.

Anyone have any idea of how I can fix this?

sorry for not being clear guys,

milehighguy is right though - i just want to get a few .tgas out of this common.lvl file so i can munge them into my own one

Hi

Just wanted to ask how I can 'unpack' a common.lvl file. I just wanted to take some off the .tga crosshairs out : )
