Clone commander

Is there any way to put in a clone commander for SWBF1? I used GGCTUK-BF1-Compatible BF2 Unit model assets, but, when I tried to add in the clone commander it crashed, after multiple attempts it still would not stop crashing. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks a lot to any one who can help.
