Title: [WIP] Naboo: City of Theed
Post by: Sereja on December 11, 2016, 09:00:06 AM
This unfinished project, for now named "Naboo: City of Theed". is deserve to be finished, but I do not know yet how far it may grow... It may be finished only as hangar complex (which I already have) or may include some city streets and even parts of the Royal Palace, so the name of the finished map could be changed. Well I do not know this yet, but at least this pics may show you current condition of this beautiful map... :)

I'm triggered now.  Thank you Sereja!

Can you add exterior pics? Pleas make the exterior beautiful as well.  Is it possible to get textures from Lego Star Wars, or any inspiration from it?

I didn't care much about exterior yet - that's all what I have for now:
(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi85.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2016%2F1211%2F99%2Fc162b82f6f500ae1cc47b12dfd894b99.jpg&hash=1edaa68ebc85e646c5c430d6beaec363ff8122ed)
The Theed Palace exterior won't match to the interior anyway, and I do not have any idea for this. I just hope salvation comes during the map creation...
The REAL Theed Palace, filmed in Star Wars, is in Italy, and calls "Royal Palace of Caserta". Exterior of it looks like this:
(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.madeinsouthitalytoday.com%2Fassets%2Fuploads%2FCampania%2FCaserta%2FRoyal_Palace%2FSmall_images%2FRoyal_palace_360_1.jpg&hash=465f422148cd8cf0671eb0e93d6b024cc56a88dc)
Now I have to invent impossible: how to put those straight corridors in to the cylindrical buildings...

I do not know anything about that. For now all of the textures are mine.

This is beautiful! Exactly what I've always wanted from a Theed Hanger map, the SWBFII left some things to be desired. I can't wait for this map to be released!

I am loving the look of what you've done so far! The hangar and power generators look like they come straight from the movie, and dare I say it, they're both much better than the SWBF2 map! I can't wait to see this map finished! Great job!  :tu:

Thanks! :)
Unfortunately I didn't play SWBF2  Theed Hangar mod yet, so not sure how far from my version it is. Still I may say I realy did a lot of film screenshot researches to figure out how it's realy should looks.  8)

Star Wars universe is huge and ofcourse I would like to made each planet and more, but it's just impossible. :P

If you have to decide between city streets or parts of the palace when adding to it, I would definitely prefer to see more of the palace.

Can't wait to see it either way!

Put it this way, it looks similar, but as long as you don't leave glitches to either hide in walls or get out of the map then you'll have a much better version.

Great work so far by the way! The exterior shouldn't matter anyway unless you're hoping to add fighters.

Especially seeing as it looks like he's going to have flyable starfighters from the hangar.
Well this just got better. In that case, good luck with the exterior! This would be interesting to see.

PS: Have you made maps for other games?

Of course it is going to look somewhat similar because it's based off the same location. I personally think Sereja's looks that much better though. Especially seeing as it looks like he's going to have flyable starfighters from the hangar. I could probably whip together some sound effects for the N1's if you want, Sereja. I don't think SWBF has those in the sound banks.

As for the outside, you haven't done a whole lot of work on it so I can't really comment yet, but if you're planning on doing some of Theed's areas, I think it'll look good (the SWBF2 map has a small courtyard but it's not very accurate - almost like an afterthought) . I'd personally take a little bit of inspiration from the Theed levels from previous games like The Phantom Menace or Jedi Power Battles games as well.

Can you also add the beautiful Episode 1 Soundtrack for background music?

tracks: "Fighting the Guards", "War Plans", "Theed Palace Arrival" "Panaka and The Queen's Protectors"

and also don't forget these scenes

Yes, I didn't forget those scenes, and made them. Perhaps I will try to found some music as well.

Since I may have a few free days, this weekand, I may continue this project, so let's see what we have for now.
Some staff like refuellers and crates was added to the hangar, plus I have realistic N-1 1st vew:
(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi89.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2017%2F0409%2F4a%2F36be3662f2cd0d1d49ea63101cf5314a.jpg&hash=e11759be98d3354309208061b1dde4a6c9c81a30)
Unfortunately in some reason fighters, drived by AI, can't leave the hangar safely after landing. They are just crash in backwall, with no any trials to turn back and fly out. :(
Well, it seems there is nothing I can do to fix this. So, I concentrate at palace complex. By hardly researches, I figure out that the Palace and Secret Passage, is totaly not the same, and the passage, should be outside. That's why stright corridor interiors with windows, are totaly mismatch with cylindrical exteriors of the palace - it's just a different building comlexes!  :slap: After understanding that, the future modding will be not so hard. So overall Generator, Secret Passage and the Palace should look like that:

What programs do you use to make the 3-d models? Is it just XSI?

Thanks! :)
Everything was maded with XSI ModTool 7,5, exept some statues. Sculptris Alpha 6 was used for them. Textures was captured right from film screenshot, which easy could be founded among internet. Also, some tourists in Caserta Palace usualy making not bad videos and photos. ;)

I still can't believe the amount of awesome that is in all of Sereja's maps!
I just want you to know that you make my expectations for map design and faithfulness to the films on another level, EA doesn't know they're totally beat.

looks like a very good map i cant wait to play it.  :cheer:

I can't tell if this is your map or a seen from the movie you are a very talented guy.

i hope someday i get to be as good as modder as you.

my hopes for this map:
the royal naboo starfighter should be flyable
    the windows should be breakable
and they should have grapleing hooks (like the movie)
and some kind of story mode or something for the clone wars

so far its still totaly awesome. good job sereja  :tu: as always.

Thanks, guys I knew you will like it. But seems the map is far for finishing. Average gameplay takes no more then 12 min, so perhaps I need to add more streets from the film.

Yes, the N-1 royal fighters are driveable, for all who hase a pilot license, ofcourse. :P

Sorry, according new security doctrine, the breakable windows was discarded as unallowed gap in royal defence.  8)

Using grappling hooks in royal apartments!?  Yeh... I am afraid such kind of action could be interpreted as a since of unrespect and outrage for Her Majesty, Queen of Naboo. The Royal Palace, it is not a place for fooling around, and as default we expect from averyone well behaviour and strictly keeping of royal eticet.
(Seriously, such weapon may crash the game and useless for AI, so I never use it in my mods.)

Grappling hooks were an unfinished weapon: you would be dragged through objects and possibly beneath the map too.

Okay than. i'l look into the grapleing hook and see if i can make it more stable. I Seriously doubt I can. but if I find anything i'l tell you
from looking at the ODF i think there is not much that can be done for it so you probally just should outlaw it. i'l find another way to
be  disruptive. we still have blasters  ;)

By making it I discover third palace entrance (the other two was main entrance and secret passage). If you remember the movie, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jar Jar Binks jump from the bridge on droid heads. But what are they doing on bridge? They can't get there only becouse they wish to make ambush, since they spotted a Queen Amidala, only when they already was upside. Seems they was there for some another reason. And those reason could be much clear if we watch deleted scene on YouTube. After they leving bongo and possibly lost Jar Jar :(, they appear in front of third palace entrance from the right side of palace complex.
(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi89.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2017%2F0815%2F49%2F4a7264b124b8d6da0127d3952b46ba49.jpg&hash=0e1882bdc380a234a13f6d0efd21488987daf499)

(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi93.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2017%2F0815%2Faf%2F61aed293f6cf7b00d11c28f8479838af.jpg&hash=8f00956b5b4b11d2c759108e4c93992d155041e5)

(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi95.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2017%2F0815%2Fb0%2F0e008b8f296604c24840304fce224bb0.jpg&hash=1c3061ff27428a29f51c34fca6216c3a112669d9)
Actually, just like a Caserta Palace, this place is realy exist and calls Hever Castel Loggia. Possibly the third entrance was well guarded or just locked, so they most likely desided to get inside the palace by going up thru the near by buildings, like those courtyard bridge
So now we can manage to continue their unfinished way to the palace.
(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi89.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2017%2F0815%2F04%2Fdd5532de4bb9595980d728d19b6ece04.jpg&hash=7cf74901811d967753b5b88b3bb6fbb2afc1956d)

(https://www.swbfgamers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi95.fastpic.ru%2Fbig%2F2017%2F0815%2Fe4%2Fbfe21d543ade5450b5273940d83f8ae4.jpg&hash=d40c5ce06d24f045e39ce0d7960278d4224d449b)
Also I may say the meditation level is still minimal, but it increases with any new path, so perhaps I will be not able to put everything all in this map... Known bug for now: primitive collisions are freezeng the map, so yes they are also have a count limit :whip:. Carefull with them, guys...

I wonder if this trick would be of use to you, Sereja.

http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=12191.0

It might help bypass the collision primitives issue.

Failing that, I wonder if an idea might be to turn it into two maps: the main city being one and the hangar/courtyard being another.

That's the thing I love about your maps, Sereja, they always push Battlefront's engine to it's limits. I'm surprised It's able to handle that SWBFEA interior, even if It's scaled down a bit in poly count.

Well, SlipKiller's tool does not work at my old windows version and will be useless for me anyway. Collision primitive issue is easy to fix if I will use only usual collision at buildings so that is not a big problem for the map enviroment. But most likely I can't use a lot of vehicles which can't be exist without primitive collision. So it's could be mostly infantry map now. (The flyers are stay, so worried should not).

I am using windows XP and for me it's enough for modding. (I do not know anything about frameworks and many other complicated PC things.) Perhaps I won't upgrade my classic style windows because of easy modding, plus modern windows doesn't have personalization functon - I can't create dark folders there, and without them my eyes will get tired too quickly.

I am a little bit out of modding right now, since I have some business at the far far away. (my cousin's wedding).
For now I can show only my new, more realistic arch:

Sereja I'm curious about the poly counts for some of your interiors and how many objects you use for a large building (interior and exterior) - do you break up the building into several smaller objects?  :g:

Can you give us your own suggested poly limits? I know the ones psych0fred gave with the documentation, but I suspect that you know the true limits of the game better.

these are from the BFBuilder Documentation:
     Polygon Count Limits (general guidelines):
     Props - 0 - 500 polys
Buildings - 200 - 3000 polys (the higher end of this spectrum represents large buildings with large interiors)
     Vehicles - 1500 - 2000 polys
     Characters - 1500 - 2000 polys

Can you give us an update? Something like:
     Polygon Count Limits (SEREJA'S GUIDELINESS):
     Props:
     Buildings:
     Vehicles:
     Characters:

Thanks in advance if you end up seeing this! Your maps are an incredible inspiration!  :tu:

Wow that map is absolutely astonishing :) brilliant work! The above post also interests me and likely many others, I would also be interested to know and I believe it is the case but does anybody know if BF2 is under exactly the same restrictions? I believe they are both on the same engine, but the limits could have been increased, I haven't looked into it yet.

Also is there any chance you would be making this map for BF2 as well? if not, I am currently learning to make maps and port BF1 maps to BF2 once completed, could I have your permission to convert this map to BF2 also?

Thank you in advance for your reply as well as your hard work and dedication, those glass windows / hallways and pillars look stunning :D and the area where Qui-Gon / Darth Maul battle! Absolutely breathtaking!

I won't convert the map to the SWBF2, but perhaps will release assets for anyone who wish to try. Anyway I need to finish it at least for SWBF1 first.

Well, if creator say such parameters are optimal, so it is. I never realy pay much attention at polys count, but If the building is too complicated, I usualy just riping it apart and then connect parts in ZE. If such buildings are many - I have to sacrifice long range view, or the game will be slow. Perhaps that's all guide I may really tell about the models. For this map most comlicated was model of the staircase interrior. It takes about 6360 triangles (I guess polys it's the same).

The secondary arch is ready. Not sure if this huge walker will be in final version (AI are very bad drivers) but looks fun. Can't say the same about MTT - seems like it's too fatty for my arches and can't passing thru them. Must be such size trick works only in SWBF EA.

If you keep the walker in, I did an 'improved' version of it here (http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=12262.0).

Sereja I just want you to know that I'm not too excited for EA's SWBF2 but I'm VERY EXCITED for your Theed!! I literally check this almost every day to see if it's closer to release! It's worth the wait I'm sure.

It'd be cool as far as extra mission.lvls to have B1 Battle Droids and Droidekas VS Naboo guards. That way you don't have to choose cause I like the idea of Naboo Guards VS Empire but also classic Clones VS Droids.

Sereja, Ginev recently had a similar problem re: collision on his "Tatooine First Assault" conversion map.

http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=33241

It seems there is indeed an upper limit per mesh for collision primitives but if you use collision meshes instead you can bypass this.

Actually i do not have problems with the collision primitives.I have problems with the model count limit for map.For example let say i put 300 models on my map and if i put one more model my map stuck on loading screen.Thats my problem.I cannot continue my map so i need help.

Since this mod isn't dead yet, I have some fresh news about it.
The big bridge was deleted because of design issue and big walker discarded, since there is nowhere to walk for him now. Everything else works fine to me, and I guess the map is ready for play. The approximate time of creation is about 1 year so it should be really quality map. I didn't make any alternative mission this time, but you may have a chance to play as Naboo Guards, Clones, Droids and Stormtroopers. I guess there is no big reason to add any other fraction.

Perhaps now I may send the link to anyone who whish to test it. I mostly need to know if it crash\freeze during loading screen at other PC. So if somebody wish to try found some new bug in new map - PM me.

So, having payed around a bit, here's my thoughts:

Pros:
-As always, top-notch work on the map. I really felt like this had come straight from the movie, a lot of the architecture is that accurate. The generator room and the hangar in particular (and they're miles better than the SWBF2 Theed Hangar map from a few years back), and the palace is really nice too.
-I feel the sides are well put-together. No unit felt unjustly overpowered.
-Having the Naboo Guard instead of the Alliance was a nice touch.

Cons:
-The main terrain street texture bugs out on anything other than low setting: it goes blue. I haven't noticed this with the grass terrain texture.
-AI starfighters just love flying into the hangar :P Though I suspect there's not an awful lot that can be done about that.
-It seems more difficult for either the Republic or the Empire to win on this map. It's odd with the Republic because they have the Naboo Guard helping them. Maybe add some more reinforcements to the Republic's side (as they have 100 less). As for the Empire, I think that's more likely to be luck of the draw more than anything else on the matches I played as there were moments where the Royal Guards were losing and I was taking in the scenery more than I was joining in.
-I know there's an issue with detail but the main arcade seems really empty. Maybe a few crates stacked around the arcade might make it look less so.
-I'm not sure why but the music streams in the GCW era are all in mono.

Al in all, a solid, highly enjoyable effort. Once this comes out of beta stage, I personally think this one is worth every player adding to their addon list, it is definitely one of the best maps for SWBF to be made. A lot of care and attention to detail went into this, and it shows. So good job on it, Sereja.  :tu:

Thanks. There was also really hard work to find images with all real props from the film.
Quote-The main terrain street texture bugs out on anything other than low setting: it goes blue. I haven't noticed this with the grass terrain texture.
The grass texture doesn't have bump texture. Perhaps that's why it is not blue (for your PC). Seems your videocard makes bump terrrain looks weird. The same was at your Scarif map, if I remember. It's hard to find some bump option parameters compatible for all video cards...
Quote-It seems more difficult for either the Republic or the Empire to win on this map. It's odd with the Republic because they have the Naboo Guard helping them. Maybe add some more reinforcements to the Republic's side (as they have 100 less).
Ah, yes I didn't spot the side count odds. They all should be about 500. (will be fixed).
Quote-I'm not sure why but the music streams in the GCW era are all in mono.
That's because GCW have my custom music, but CW is not. I never make custom stereo music streams, since I am use tutorial for making it in mono only.

Yeah, the shots from the film itself would only be useful up to a point, so it shows just how much work went into making it as authentic as possible.

Yeah, it's interesting because it doesn't happen on stock maps.

QuoteAh, yes I didn't spot the side count odds. They all should be about 500. (will be fixed).

Glad to see that will be fixed. And in truth, I played another round in GCW and the Empire won that one so no bones there.

I did have a couple of other suggestions after playing through the map again. This room here, and the connecting rooms, are a bit too dark in comparison to the rest of the palace:
I found this while playing with the AAT, it seems its reticule texture is missing:
I feel the main arcade could use something to make it less barren. It doesn't have to be anything huge, but maybe a couple of crates stacked to the sides or something.

Also, just a really small point, but it might be worth replacing some of the stock weapon models. I built some nice replacement weapons which are free for anybody to use (A280, DLT series, improved E-11 etc). It's not a major point but I feel the stock weapons do tend to stick out when compared to the higher quality weapons.

Curious, I've not had that problem with GCW. In fact, GCW is the era I had the most fun with (as at the moment the Clones have to few reinforcements to fight back properly in Clone Wars)

Run it in SPTest, see if it spits out any errors in the BFront log.

Just tested it and as always the design and sides are excellent!! I had an absolute blast and it feels like it's straight out of the films!! As someone who loves The Phantom Menace it's nice to see so much love and care poured into the details of the map! I could really go on for days about how much I love it! It'll be a map I play quite a lot (just like all your others)!

As far as bugs go I only found one.
The clone pilot's first person view has droid hands.
I agree with Gistech about raising the Republic reinforcements, no more than 50 should do the trick.

I also agree with Gistech about adding something in the main courtyard to provide cover and make it look a bit less dull. I think some simple crates should do the job! If you want to be real fancy, destroyed AATs, Naboo speeders or maybe even a downed AT-AT or AT-TE would be awesome!
This is the area I'm talking about.
Not sure if this is intentional but the Naboo Guard rifle has the same sound as the E-11 blaster.

Also this is me being suuuuper nitpicky but the CIS starts off the match inside the palace, I'd think it'd be reversed since they are invading.
I remember reading that you initially had an AT-AT in the map, I felt that having some sort of mobile CP would have spiced up the exterior battle a lot more.

Having an AT-TE (for the Empire like you do in Felucia) and the MTT would really add another dimension to the map, if it's still possible to add that.

If not, perhaps having heavier vehicles like Spider Walkers, AT-STs, AT-XTs, and Rebel Tanks can add a bit more vehicle action to the map.

Also I appreciate this small touch of light rays! It makes that rotunda so much more beautiful!!
And you're my hero for adding in the Handmaidens as playable characters! They were so much fun to play as and people often forget how cool they are in Legends.

I can't wait for the final release, it's sure to be a blast!
As always Sereja you make me never want to play another game except SWBFI!  :tu:

Yes, that is a terrain issue, which caused by high altitude deformation. If you make too high mountains, or too deep abyss, your ZE wont show the terrain correctly, and it's hard to adjust it right. I will try to do something with this...

But I will try to imagine something, since I already reach the limit of the hintnodes (350), and can't force AI to hide behind the obstacles anymore. Perhaps It's could be some part of the decor like vases or planters, with no chance to be used as a cover by AI. I never playd SWBFEA, but I saw in YouTube much more "military style" at the Plaza, like a crates or gun boxes. Not sure if the main street to the Royal Palace, could be really in such mess...

Must be because its really E-11 blaster .odf with just green blaster bolts. :P
QuoteAlso this is me being suuuuper nitpicky but the CIS starts off the match inside the palace, I'd think it'd be reversed since they are invading.
Hmm, not really. Actually the invasion happened without any resistance. Naboo Guards, leaded by Amidala, was tried to retake palace when it was already under CIS control. (I was planning to add Naboo Guards in CW as main side instead of clones in begining.)

Well, that's tricky. To make AI move correctly I need to add planning and barriers, visible for them. The game may recognize only the 6 types of them:
Soldier - lets unit to go everywhere but avoid the water.
Hover - lets move in the mid size places and in the water (Gian Speeder)
Small - lets move in thin places and in the water (STAP)
Medium - lets move in wide places and in the water (AAT, IFT).
Huge - lets move in thin places but avoid water. (AT-RT).
Flyer - lets to fly everywhere.
To add command walker like AT-AT I need to have seventh slot like this:
xxxx - lets move in wide places but avoid the water (AT-TE).
I can change the meanings of the each slot but I just can't have the seventh one. So without correct barriers, the AT-TE will have a drunk AI driver and may go to the unexpected direction (or just won't ever move).

With two of those shots I think you just need something to 'cover it up' or stop people from getting to those areas. IIRC EA's version of the third shot (inside the palace) had a door in place of the gate so that might be an option if you can't get that part of the terrain to behave.

QuoteMust be because its really E-11 blaster .odf with just green blaster bolts.

If this really is an issue, I have sound effects for the Naboo Guard weapons. However, for me it doesn't detract. I'd assume there's a ton of sound effects already in use and you would risk breaking the sounds already in there. Having said that, I have a much cleaner ELG3A sound, if you want it.

I see. In my opinion the map would look better, not worse with something in the plaza, even if it is messy. ;)
Maybe the Clones/Naboo Guards are using the plaza as a staging area before they try to take back the palace and that is why they have crates and boxes all over.
As far as the AI using them for cover, they don't necessarily have to, as long as they can navigate through them. It's more cover for the player.
But I understand the desire to be accurate to the film.

That's what I may expected. It is a side overload bug and it's may appears at certain PC only. I will try to remove rebel side and this bug should be gone.
Ah I see. It wasn't a major issue, just thought as an alternative to adding things to the plaza that more vehicles may work.

Also for those that have played the map I just want you all to take a look at this screenshot from the film and notice how accurate this map is!!

Would you consider adding an additional mission.lvl where it is Naboo Guards vs Battle Droids? That way we can recreate the film!

Oh dang! I just got out Star Warsed!! You got a point there my friend!
However, since Clone Wars is now Clones vs Droids wouldn't the Clones have control of the palace?  :P
Not necessarily, let's take the situation Sereja's map is providing and explore it. (I'm going to ignore the EU here and go solely off the films.)

So first we know the Republic had many member worlds and unless the Republic had foreknowledge of an attack against a single planet (assuming that planet was of little strategic value) it is likely it would succeed. The Republic hardly would've had the numbers to maintain a substantial garrison on each member planet.

And in the case of Naboo from the films we know their own security forces were no match for "a battle hardened Federation army". Which would suggest that they would not have been able to offer substantial resistance to an even better equipped Separatist army. (Of course it's possible after the first invasion Naboo went through widespread reforms to maintain an army and defences to prevent another invasion from succeeding. Although given they oppose the creation of a galactic army in the second film it seems unlikely, but still it is certainly possible.)

And remember that Naboo was remote enough that the Senate was hesitant to believe accusations that the Trade Federation had invaded and occupied the planet. This backs up that the Separatists could invade the planet (or at least key portions of it, such as it's capital city) before the Republic could respond.

Nute Gunray also (as depicted in Attack of the Clones) held a severe grudge against Padmé Amidala for besting him and it is believable that he would use his influence to have the planet invaded as a form of revenge.

Overall I believe the situation Sereja depicts of the Republic liberating the planet has a greater thematic basis than them defending the planet. (Although the inverse situation is possible to come up with as well of course.)

*stretches fingers*
WELL as depicted in The Clone Wars animated show Naboo was a substantial planet in the galaxy post-TPM. They held festivals there (Festival of light, S4) and quickly shut down an undercover Separatist virus plot (Blue Shadow Virus, S1).
The fact that Naboo was the homeworld of Palpatine as well as the planet which Padmè, a substantial leader in the Republic and outspoken voice, represented added to the increased protection of it and vitality of keeping it within the protection of the Army. It was equivalent to Alderaan, which never saw boots on the ground action during The Clone War.

Let us not forget, as seen in AotC, Naboo has become a major spaceport planet as well, ferrying refugees to the planet so they can go on their way.

I doubt the Republic would leave such a valuable refugee location in the open, undefended.
And the economy of Naboo, based in the mining of plasma, would also add to the need to defend properly.

I'm not saying it isn't possible that Nute Gunray would try to invade to get revenge, but at this point in the war (Phase II clones are in use on the map) the lines are pretty much drawn and the major battles are taking place in the Outer Rim.
If the Separatists were to attempt an invasion it would be a full on frontal assault of the Palace, a palace in which the Clone Army (stationed there to protect the spaceport and precious plasma mines) is defending.

Overall I believe that your point is incorrect in the current depiction of the canon Star Wars universe and should be reviewed keeping in mind galactic politics/economy in mind.

Yes well as I said I was ignoring the EU in that argument. Perhaps I worded that wrong and I should have explicitly said I was ignoring anything other than the films. In that context you have still weakened my argument by pointing out a couple things I forgot from the films, but I believe the key points still hold.

This has got to be the best naboo stage EVER :tu: :tu: :tu:
I LOVE the sides as well.  How can I implement them for the normal sides that the game reads for default?
