Very close, Unit33!

It was in fact from my Encounter at Geonosis map...  Jango Fett would randomly get beheaded if you slashed him while playing as a Jedi, and also Count Dooku got dismembered in my Battle of Coruscant map.   I never had the clones get chopped up though.

Oh ho! I thought you had done something along those lines.

I suppose my memory of clone dismemberment came from that!

I don't think they are privy enough to source code there to get it out of the PowerPC code base.
And even if they were inclined, I'd probably be one of perhaps a half dozen Mac players that would play it.

Just to add to this, I coulda sworn is was a feature of a Napseeker map yonks ago.

The feature involved Clone Troopers that 'exploded' into their composite parts on kill, in the same manner as droids.
So essentially the author of the mod had divided clones into 'chunks'.

Seemed like a really polite humble bloke, RIP

I think his health had been deteriorating for some time.

I guess they decided against the Mac port, how irritating.

Well, I'm glad the game got a new injection of life, I was getting worried things were slowing down... hurray!

I like the notion that Snoke was simply some creature of Palpatine's that escaped and managed to make the most of the power void.

In a similar fashion to how Plagueis kept a bunch of force sensitive folk for life extension experiments.

Either Palpatine wasn't really there, or survived in a Voldemort-like way, his spirit either being resurrected or barely clinging on to existence in some twisted form.

I recall it being described as like 'TFU without the Mountain Dew', which is encouraging for me.

I yearn for a Jedi Knight 2 - like game with RPG elements with skills trees and all that stuff.

Palpatine's behind it all.

A few of the new canon books were hinting at Palps having some reach beyond his 'death' besides the contingencies that ensured the orderly destruction of the Empire.

There's all sorts of references to secret research facilities out in the unexplored regions that were initiated by Palps personally.

No wonder all these projects get DMCAs. The devs are practically asking for it when they release information about their project on the internet. I don't understand why they don't keep a low profile and just leak the project when it's done.
It's a tricky one, because presumably indie devs in that world rely on publicity so they can find useful skilled folk that might help with the project.
With long term projects, it's also good to build a fanbase that can provide feedback / good vibes / donations. I can imagine it would be difficult to remain motivated working in complete isolation.

I think the solution is don't make games using an IP you don't own, unless the actual owners are unusually cool with fan-made stuff (Black Mesa).

Had the issue yesterday, restarting the console fixed it.

It is quite fun, feels like one of the flatter SWBF mod maps, no doubt the help the bots navigate the terrain properly.

I am quite impressed by the bots, they are sometimes more helpful than players because they actually play the objective.

The capital ship interiors are really quite special, and they were obviously very dedicated to the task of making them accurate-ish and still interesting to run around in.

From what I recall they do have a lot of assets for GCW capital ship interiors due to the campaign, so it wouldn't surprise me if they do eventually make an additional map.

What platform are you on?

I had no issues on PS4 earlier.

I imagine they'll be quick to fix it, as I've seen a lot of folk mention the issue elsewhere.

Oh, I love that book! I'm not sure that it would make a good campaign, though, given how much characterization is given. There's a lot of subtle cues in the dialog which, unless an adaptation were to undergo major revisions, would require MGS4-length cutscenes. Still, there was a lot of cool set-pieces that would certainly be welcome in a game.
Oh sure, maybe not a direct adaptation, but the planet hoping nature of the Twilight Company with characters that class-like specialities would have been a good fit, kinda like Republic Commando + Battlefront.

The 501st view point was a great vehicle to show the transition from Clone Wars to Galactic Civil War.

A Rebel view point would really suit the transition from the Galactic Civil War to First Order–Resistance war; which is almost what they were going for in SWBF2 (2017).

Hopefully we get something more like that one day, especially with the great canon contribution that is Battlefront Twilight Company (still one of the best new canon books).

Sure don't mind taking a look, sounds like you've put a jolly good amount of work into it!
