For some reason the Mandolorians are somewhat reminiscent of HALO elites to me...

Requests / HIstorical-Style Map
March 07, 2009, 10:41:33 AM
I had an idea for a possible map: What if someone made a D-Day map? Rebels/Clones are Allied Forces, Empire/CIS are Germany. The Empire has fortified positions along the beachfront and small command bases. The Rebels have a few landers to start out with as CPs, but they're destructible, like the Shield Generator on Hoth. Empire's goals are to destroy Rebel Landers and defend main base. Rebel's goals are to take beach command posts and protect landers. Snipers would have a major role for both sides, as would rocket troopers. The empire's command posts would have wooden and sandbag fortifications like those on Kashyyk. Rebels would have a bit more, say 50 more reinforcements. I don't know if it's possible, but I thought I should spew it up here anyways.

Will it be a Class-Action shooter or will it implement the weapons exchange program from Renegade Squadron (BTW, one of my favorite PSP games). I think the Weapons Exchange worked pretty well and allowed for some interesting combinations, but I have a feeling they'll return to the original format from BF1 and 2.

ggctuk says:
QuoteI think Pandemic should include three IA modes - BF1 style, BF2 style and whatever new style they'll do in BF3.

What do you mean by that?

I hope this gets through and it gets made. That and a few other games would convince me to get the XBOX360.

OK, that sorta makes sense. Thanks to all the contributors, although it still sorta breaks me head. And for the wish post, I WIsh I hadn't mentioned pointing and jeering.

uhh... ok??
#97
Well, thanks anyways. Although I specifically asked for no pointing and jeering.

It's instinctual response man. Muscle memory is probably ingrained in the movement keys, but if you hear a rocket, that's more a knee-jerk reaction than muscle memory. As for nailing anyone sneaking up on you, that might be dumb luck and some practice.

Ok, I downloaded the Unsupported Mod Tools from Filefront .com to do modding with, but I have no idea what to do. Please help, and please don't point and jeer.

Quote from: "The_Pi"The destroy the ship part. You can't make an auto-win with that

What about the Death Star: Hanger level (Hangerz1)? If you destroy the pylon in the main room and the life support cylinder in the back you win in 20 seconds, don't ya?

I've been having a debate with my friend about this one, so I thought I'd pitch it to you guys for your consideration:
How much do graphics really matter to your gaming experience? I like gameplay overall, but it never hurts to look pretty as well. My friend says graphics are the single most important part of a game.  :|
Please at least cast your vote, and feel free to post about your decision.

Halo is a good example of a game that had a good story mode and mutiplayer. Although the community is not the best...
