Minecraft Server Help

I've seen a few servers made with MCStorm, Forge, and Lawl, never dezinny though, is that a newer server software?

By the way Ltin, would you happen to know where to download/how to install the software?

Minor update:

Due to a personal financial issue, I can't set up a server just yet.

Realistically it might take me a month before I can purchase towards a permanent setup. I can probably buy a cheap hard drive for the lappy I mentioned earlier and hope it won't be a lemon for the time being (seagate hard drives have terrible reliability but they're cheap).

OK, that's fine. Don't feel like you are obligated to make a server. 

Thanks for going through the trouble. Hopefully the MC server will be up soon.

Luckly, minecraft classic servers dont require near as mich hard drive space or ram to host a server, though i dont know how much.
