What is the highest resolution you can have skins at in SWBFI without them turning into low res every time another trooper comes along?

What is the highest resolution you can have skins at in SWBFI without them turning into low res every time another trooper comes along?

It's not so much the resolution, but it is the game that decides when it is time to use the low-res skin.  I've seen it happen when units are very near and very far away, and anywhere in between.  I think it can depend on your LOD value and some game controlled items.
