Post by: legostarwarsbattlefront on September 03, 2016, 06:03:06 PM
Can someone help me with learning how to make a "fake console" like in star wars battlefront 2 for star wars battlefront 1?

SWBF1 fake console has no useful features at all.  It has always existed in the game, but was "uncovered".  It is not possible to add features to it.

It seems the main executeable switches it off in the code and not in LUA function.

The SWBF1 engine is very primitive in terms of coding. There is almost nothing you can do. That is why there is only a conquest mode, because other game modes require unsupported scripting functions. The only thing I can imagine having on fake console is a skin changer mod, because textures can be manipulated using a simple file calling function.

Indeed, and as we no longer seem to have anybody who can break into the executeable and change or add stuff, it'll be staying that way.
