Scheduled NFO maintenance events will be posted in this thread.

Our master server and SWBFgamers/PLA game server host is NFO, at their Chicago location.

https://www.nfoservers.com/

They occasionally have scheduled maintenance events.

Upcoming network maintenance early 5/31
May 27 2016 04:17:47 PM PT    Between 2:30am CDT and 5:30am CDT on Tuesday, May 31, we plan to bring down our Equinix peering connection briefly in order to upgrade it from 10G to 20G. We expect for this to only cause a short period of increased latencies or a short disconnection for certain clients, but there is the possibility of a wider period of downtime (such as 5-15 minutes) for all clients if the router needs to be rebooted or reconfigured further as part of the maintenance.

Update @ 3:29am CDT: This maintenance was completed successfully. It went smoother than expected; we observed no packet loss or other disconnections.

Connection issues
Jun 05 2016 05:33:40 PM PT    One of our routers in Chicago stopped working properly due to a firmware issue with its network adapters. This caused reachability problems for many clients. The situation should be back to normal now. We are continuing to look into what it will take to fix this problem for good as well as make sure it is better-worked-around in the future.

Switch reload
Jun 07 2016 08:57:01 PM PT   Our main aggregation switch in Chicago appears to have reloaded (restarted), causing a minute or two of downtime for customers. We are currently investigating why this happened and will be following up with the vendor.
