Title: [INCIDENT] Ingame crashing
Post by: Anyder on June 08, 2016, 04:23:20 AM
Eliad has been experiencing problems with the SWBFII.exe lately. Whenever he tries to load a map (MP or SP) he gets an exe crash.
We've tried the following things:

- Using the compatibility mode (Win XP)
- Running it as an administrator
- Getting the audio disabled
- Reinstalling the game

Does anyone have any other suggestion ?

Has of she tried updating his driver I had the same problem but it was lagging.

I'm gonna suggest the updating-driver option, but please read the topic description  ;)

Any luck on this? I will not be able to participate in ICW6 and I've tried quite a few options now and nothing's working.

Same thing here, can't get it to work anyhow.

Option 1:
- Install without the auto-installer. If that doesn't work, refer to option 2.

Option 2 (Worked for me):
- Do a clean install of the entire game, make sure you either delete or rename the old game file's directory (in the LucasArts folder). Then, install it and add the SWBFSpy patch and load it through the patch.

Hopefully one of these works. Phobos or Anyder may be able to provide further assistance, they know a lot more than I do on this situation.

Hope I helped in anyway possible.

Just wanna add, if anyone has Steam, it's not in the Lucasarts folder. it's in this directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II
I believe for Gog it is simply in C:\Program Files (x86)    so:   C:\Program Files (x86)\Star Wars Battlefront II
