Hello everyone!
I'm back with a new era release, this time it's based on the Resistance Vs First Order war.
1,6 RELEASE
Lots of small things have been improved\changed since the last version, skins, models, animations
and such. Space maps have been added and the new Jakku Outpost map made by Commander Cody is
included in the pack. Hunt mode is available in Geonosis and hero assault on Mos Eisley. The First
Order has his proper symbol as CP icon.

Review:
- Very solid gameplay, love the class setup and weapons. (And how they're all based on EA SWBF)
- Great work on the skins. However, Gistch/Ggctuk released some better models of the Stormtroopers HERE (http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=10161.0), however, no offense to G, your textures for them are way better, I suggest combining the two.
- Those blaster shot effects are BEAU-TI-FUL. I must haz them right NOW!!!!!! (Though I do think the infantry ones are a bit too wide, and the vehicle ones are way too small.)
- The First Order appears to be overpowered. Particularly on maps where they have tanks.
- I think Kylo Ren needs a new combo. Perhaps some mix of Anakin/Obi-wan, Luke and Mace's styles.
- I don't think it needs to be said, but when we get a good tonfa model, definitely add Nines/TR-8R.
- Any plans on adding Rey?

Sorry, but I don't agree anymore, I would have said the opposite: for me the Resistance seems to be overpowered...I often got a little "DEFFEAT" when I'm playing as the first order... :blink: (lol, I don't thing I'm a bad player)

I need a model for her. That fits swbf style.
The convopack has some models that could fit. The marajade model or the aurra sing model in it can be retextured pretty well. Or you can ask deviss to kitbash a model for you.
After some work, it turns out that aayla's model is not that bad:

I've created an "AddOn" folder in the GameData folder in my SWBF2 directory, but nothing shows up in-game. Hey Delta, Conquest is not appearing in any of Marvel's BF1 maps listed... Any idea on how to fix it?
I did everything right, the TFA folder is in the addon folder, etc...

The download screwed up my game. It's now sitting there a a lovely 60x60 (not literally) screen on the menu and crashes when I load up the game. Any fix?

Will you keep the stormtrooper version of finn and the jacket poe?
like there are more versions of luke too (Luke pilot, tatooine luke).
Maybe you can add even more versions of kylo ren (unmasked) and rey (with jacket).
It would get you more diversity and more heroes to choose from.
Some more ideas for new first order and resistance heroes:
Admiral Ackbar (he is a an admiral, but maybe he got action too)
General Organa
Knights of Ren (as seen in the vision of rey, different kinds of knights with different armor and weapons)
Snoke (but what powers to give him?)

Given we have no idea exactly who or what Snoke is or what he can do (though I do like the theory that he's Plagueis), I think we should wait on that one.

Otherwise I really don't think so, since I know nothing about modelling.
Delta, can you tell me if you have the conversion Pack 2.2? And/Or the 1.3 r129 patch? How are your folders arranged? Maybe I messed something up, and that's the reason it's not appearing on the bf1 missions...

I've the 1.3 patch, but not the conversion pack. Try to remove the convo pack, it could be interferring with marvel's missions.

His new "Jakku: Outpost" map is pretty awesome and will be actually included in the next update as part of the TFA folder!

Some minor things have been updated as well:
[spoiler]-the stormtrooper skin has been slightly improved
-the f-11d rifle now uses the great model that ggctuk made which I've reskinned
-the snowtrooper and his backpack skins have been improved to match the actual costume
-AQT was king enough to hex edit count dooku's cape to cpt. phasma
-the resistance's NN-14 Blaster Pistol now uses a better model
-the animations have been improved
-finn and phasma do not have the scout pistol anymore
-and maybe something else that I cannot remember now hehe[/spoiler]

Well, this map is based on the first order's assault on the village, first scene of TFA.
There was no star destroyer in the background of that scene, so I'm ok with how it is now.
I think it captures the scene very well.

Just checked it, you're right, the Destoyer is near Niima outpost, not the village.

1,6 RELEASE
Lots of small things have been improved\changed since the last version, skins, models, animations and such. Space maps have been added and the new Jakku Outpost map made by Commander Cody is included in the pack. Hunt mode is available in Geonosis and hero assault on Mos Eisley. The First Order has his proper symbol as CP icon and blah blah blah, enjoy!

Fixed it. We have a lot of delta's around here...I had 1045 in the filename and not 1035...
Anyway, it's ok now ;)

I think the weapons of Resistance is way below First Order. There is two heavy weapon classes in First Order but in Resistance there is two engineers. It's not well balanced. FO can easily win over Resistance.
I played back on this today since I haven't played the newer versions due to SWBF 2 having a terrible resolution but this has really improved! I absolutely love this mod!

You're probably using the Conversion Pack with all those new units and the Kotor era. The era shows up in the multiplayer menu, and I don't see anything that would break MP in the mod. What's your problem with it?

It didn't show up for me? Besides, I might reinstall EVERYTHING since my game is really broken. It's showing yellow and black floors with red backgrounds. I haven't edited the files since I last played which is what I don't understand.

I had the same issue before. It's probably caused by the graphic card driver that has been updated. I had to uninstall the newer drivers and install some older ones in order to get swbf II to work properly.

That's probably the issue. I'm up to date with the latest AMD Crimson Drivers so if anyone is up to date on the AMD Crimson Drivers like me, do you have this issue?
