Last post by Giftheck - September 23, 2024, 01:30:00 PMI've split this off, I think it deserves its own topic so everyone can see it
I'd imagine the addresses for each might be a bit different, but the hex values themselves should be the same for the steam version, so you should be able to find them.
Quote from: wsa30h on September 23, 2024, 10:56:55 AMis this for the 1.2 cd and dvd versions ? any chance this might work in the latest steam version ?

Quote from: Zelenium on September 22, 2024, 01:02:22 PMI increased the maximum possible memory pool allocated by the game for sounds from 32 megabytes to 256.
Current Instruction:
1. Using HexEditor, navigate to address "95AD"
2. Сhange the code from "00 02 E8" to "00 16 E8"
3. Navigate to address "9755"
4. Сhange the code from "00 02 C7 05 38 52 CD 01 80 00 00" to "00 16 C7 05 38 52 CD 01 00 04 00"
5. Now you can use as many sounds as you need for every map

Forum News and Forum Rules / SWBF2 BFH Request
Last post by Anyder - September 21, 2024, 03:56:04 PMHello guys!
I was recently reached by BFH (Battlefront Hub) owner Obi, requesting new mod maps for SWBF2 scrims.
Currently, the BFH/BCL map pool contains some maps developed by Smith, a SWBF2 player & modder. However, it's time to go through some new and old maps to include them in the pool and enlarge it.
I have suggested that during the week of 28th of October, SWBF2's anniversary, we would play some of your mod maps to see if they fit the community requests:
If you have developed one, two, or as many maps, feel free to send them to me privately (DM Link) or through this topic.
Do not take this as a priority. But take this as an opportunity to be known for your modding skills in the SWBF2 Competitive community.
Thank you for your endless support.

- Not too big, not too small. Have in mind they are going to be played in scrims. Take as references Mos Eisley and Tantive IV.
- One or two eras, that doesn't matter.
- Filesize no larger than 100Mb.
- Maps can be conversions from SWBF1 or other games, or even inspired by movies.
