I think yes.

So we think of a setting then?

My vote is for a day time courasant map, kinda based when the seperatisit forces attack courasant. It would be different from rends map because it will have debris and destroyed parts of structures on some areas. We could have ships props in the sky flying by simulating the aerial battles.

I personally don't mind large maps, but with large maps come the possibilitie of lag. You want to make something that anyone with a slow pc and high end pc can run. Something medium sized would probably work best, less work and less time to get it done maybe. Maybe.... maybe we could attempt to re-created this map in bf3...or maybe im crazy lol. Im sure there are other ideas you gentlemen could come up with.

Here is the pilot episode for a series of mod videos for BF 1. Let me know if you like it or if you have any suggestions. Im open to show case any mods you recommend. A very special thanks to kitfisto for the help. Video is unlisted so its more of an early preview.

Also future quality should be better, im not usually the one that records in HD resolution from the start. Joe k, one of my friends and team members has this game and he has a really beast PC that can both record and play this game at full settings. Ill go ahead and aks him if he is interested(He freaking loves BF1).

You could always try migrating over to the battlefront II community. Just a suggestion though, im in a team where we are currently converting BF1 maps, animations and sides and we are going to impliment it into battlefront in a way that make it seem like one full game. We even have plans for the BF1 Campaign, similiar to how mav did in the Dark times 2 mod.(Or something of a mission edit, we have 2 maps currently being done and the clone BF1 animations are completly animated in BF2.)

If it has good management with everyone on the same page, it could very well work out. I think step one would be to decide on the setting and vote for the best concept/idea. Personally I always thought medium sized TDM envorement would work best for a courasaunt map.

Perhaps inspiration from this video? A map similiar but much smaller in size.



We should be open to lots of other ideas tohugh, why not find a good corasaunt reference so we can start voting.

Thank you, so this little packgae has all of these and more I presume? Seems very interesting, might give my self a month or two to learn about the rest of these features/files.

It occured to me that there is a lot of mods that replace the stock models with newer ones from battlefront 2. Though they look nicer, battlefront 1 still had this very interesting kind art style  and I kinda feel mixing BF1 models with BF2  models made them feel outta place. Ive actually been working on a few concepts to enchance the quality of BF1 skin textures so that they retian that BF1 feel but look more detailed. So I am requesting if someone would be so kind to get me the stock msh and TGA files for the CIS, Clone, Rebels and Empire units so that I may try my hand at this. (And if possible the cut bothen spy msh and TGA)



I do have experience in editing skins, and I do plan to release them for free use after ive completed them. This is actually step one for another project that might find itself in both Battlefront games.

Why not just work as a team to create one spectatcular courasaunt map for battlefront? Someone could make skins, one person makes props, another person textures ect. I think that would be more realistic, heck if someone were to give me the mesh and skins files I could  help in the HD skin department.

How cool!  Seems interesting, no one seems to host tournaments for battlefront II. Its nice to see the Battlefront I community knows how to party it up.

I would ignore what the video says. All you need to do is drag and drop the files into the gamedata folder. It doesn't replace anything and you can turn it off by pressing alt f12. It will work on most pc's, since it doesn't really affect resolution. It just adds new effect on the the screen and with in the engine.

This was a visual enhancement mod that injects various HD type elements into various games like grand theft auto and even used on new games like skyrim. It was Done by KnighT ¬ 972 and Boris Vorontsov, originally this was configured for battlefront 2, however I tested it on BF 1 and boy does it shine!





Its easy to install and easy to uninstall if you don't want it. Though it is something I recommend to play with as it makes battlefront look even better!

In newer maps like this the sides are updated from the ones that you made from your awesome BFsides mods. Perhaps we will see an updated sides mod from you in the future? By the way this is just awesome! I love how well the clone wars sides fit in here and everything from vehicles to the custom classes work great!
