Title: BSOD D:
Post by: aeria. on January 18, 2010, 11:47:35 AM
Windows XP decided to give me the BSOD on startup and I really need to recover some homework there. I lack experience in these fatal error messages so I'm asking MPC what should I do.

- Reformat and do 3 hrs of typing all over again
OR
- Spend the whole day trying to find why I have a registry error

The plus side to reformating is a chance to finally install Win7 but then again I really need to access my HD partition to recover HW.

Can anyone help? :'(

try booting from your OS install disc, and repair windows. It worked for me when i used Vista.
