Pandemic made Battlefront I right? So I'm just hoping the game will be like a major overhaul of battlefront I with better graphics and features, etc. and hopefully it will be a good job of it. I really didn't trust Rebellion at all, I'd rather have this project in Pandemic's hands than them.

I think it will be a whole new game. cant see them rehashing much even although SWBF1 is great! The will want to make a big impact...after all it is Star Wars!  All this anticipation gives me a headache, there's too much confusion, I cant get no relief!

I think Pandemic should include three IA modes - BF1 style, BF2 style and whatever new style they'll do in BF3. And they should keep the ships on ground levels as well as space levels. Biggest disappointment of BF2 was the removal of Platforms and Dune Sea - good examples of where spaceships worked on ground battles.

Will it be a Class-Action shooter or will it implement the weapons exchange program from Renegade Squadron (BTW, one of my favorite PSP games). I think the Weapons Exchange worked pretty well and allowed for some interesting combinations, but I have a feeling they'll return to the original format from BF1 and 2.

A very reliable "insider source" has told videogaming247 that Star Wars Battlefront 3 is heading back to Pandemic's studios in Los Angeles, California.

Pandemic Studios and LucasArts developed the first Battlefront back 2004, with the sequel coming out just a year later.

However, inside of 12 months of Battlefront II's release, Free Radical Design announced that it would be making a third title in the series. The project was dropped late last year amid FRDs financial difficulties.

Yesterday, alpha footage leaked onto the net that another one our VG247's contacts told us that footage was indeed real.

We have contacted EA, who owns Pandemic Studios, but as of yet have not been able to reach the publisher for comment.

VG247 is told that this is pretty nailed on, so expect an announcement sooner rather than later.

So just some information to clear things up and back up some of what has been said already.

star wars battlefront psp - Pandemic denies Battlefront 3 rumour

Posting on the official Pandemic Studios forums, community manager Mathew Everett has responded to recent rumours which claimed development of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 had moved to the Mercenaries 2 and Lord of the Rings: Conquest developer. The game had previously been in development at Free Radical, now Crytek UK.

"As of right now I can say Battlefront 3 is not currently at Pandemic," stated Everett. "While I know the title seems to be up in the air from all the buzz around the web... Lucas Arts will be the only one knowing where the title is at right now."

Either the game is taking a very long time to make its way to Pandemic or LucasArts has another developer working on the Star Wars sequel.

So Pandemic Certainly does NOT seem to be making this, unless they have outright lied (which I would bet they didn't).

As of right now I can say Battlefront 3 is not currently at Pandemic. While I know the title seems to be up in the air from all the buzz around the web... Lucas Arts will be the only one knowing where the title is at right now.

Lies, it's all lies! Someone knows what is goin' on and keeping it to themselves...there are 2 many industry insiders leaving us a trail to the latest developer pandemic!  It's all part of the (as someone else called it) Buzz!  Clever marketing and strategic leaks!  SWBFIII is coming, no doubt about it....Pandemic are just waiting on the official say so and necessary paperwork, and they know it!
