Let's figure out the next tournament!
I would suggest something with TK off.
Perhaps an individual player tournament:
Cloud City
Maze
+ something else
Kills = 1 point
Deaths = -1 point
CPs = 2 points
Winner gets immortalized on our forums in a tournament winners post :)
But I'm open to ideas--let's try to get some good turnout though--I think the tk= on made us lose a few PC players.
I would love to brush off my sniperrifle and join the next tourney. Id suggest another GGW except assign people to clans. I think if anyone could do it you could. Also, it would add tactics and theres no greater bragging right than galactic domination :D we could post it to clan guestbooks and maybe advertise on servers and such. I could also try to finish ApeX Cantina as the cantina map....Just an idea hehe
Sounds like a good idea. For the final map, might I suggest the GT Jai Nollan map?
A Space map???? Like one i found "Endor Space" Or we can try Egypt!!!! :D

i love this idea the most. this would be so verrry epic.
I'm up for getting thrashed by you lot :) But anyway I have an idea why not get/take away points for getting an award i.e Public Enermy 10 points maybe?
ehhh that might work , but not 10 points. maybe award the Survivalist and the Public Enemy both 2 or 3 points. This would be very cool if we could have a GGW in the SWBF Gamers community. I vote all for this ! :cheers: , i could also get my clan involved in this.

Yeah but it was rebs vs emps right? This time we can make up names for like 4-6 clans and have all them fight over the galaxy :D after the sniper one

Teams auto decided/determined or self picked
2on2 Tournaments fought side by side.
each team wins or loses and advances to finals.
winner recieves something(idk?)
What rules ?
2 Rounds on each maps ( 1st map for Team.A and 2nd map for Team.B ) ?
Cp ? 1.0/1.2 Gaming ? Tank ? Wich maps ?
So the winner will choice the rules for next tournament or get a special rank or something like that.
Led , out of what we were talking about i dont get how you got a sniper tournament out of all that :blink: ? and i like the idea of a GGW tournament. Which didnt get corrupt at the end with random teams like the old tournament did. But whatever :dry:
I like the idea of a bracket sniper tournament, but I think it will take awhile to assemble teams. I can host using a mod similar to the 1.0 ESL mod on CC, so that would minimize a lot of issues.
I would suggest that we start a new thread with teams, then we can do a random draw for bracket positions.
Also, that will give us time for getting in an individual player tournament :)
I'm ok with a sniper tourney, after that we should do GGW tho, I think everyone misses it haha :D

Could you guys explain me what rules did you play in, 1.0, 1.2 ?
well i didnt mean sniper only but thats cool (im best with sniper) a 1.0 tournament 2 vs 2 but sniper is good. i can make a program that randomly picks peoples names (that will take a while to program though, im just learning java)
GGW is all units, cps and everything clans vs clans on several stock and mod maps. Theres a galaxy map so you can only attack maps near you and things like that.

OK, Fire and Snake can organize a GGW type tournament.
I can host by DC so PC and MACS can play. If no mac group participates, then I can host on the PC server, or you can figure out who can host. You can start the tournament 5/1.

Sniper Tournament with single elimination bracket. Two player sniper only teams. A player can participate on only one team. Starts 4/24. I can host, or as agreed to by the teams. I will start a signup thread, more details soon.
