Star Wars Celebration VII location and dates revealed

At the end of Star Wars Celebration Europe's closing ceremonies this weekend, Lucasfilm officially announced the details of its next official convention: Star Wars Celebration VII will be held in Anaheim, California, from April 16-19, 2015. Timed with the release of Star Wars: Episode VII, this promises to be a Star Wars Celebration like no other.

That is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from my house.


I CAN'T CONTAIN IT!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!! I've wanted to go to a celebration for a long time now!!!!!!!

Good things in 2015 for me:

1) Episode VII
2) Star Wars Rebels is airing and will be on its way to the season finale
3) Star Wars Celebration VII less than 2 hours away from my home
4) High School graduation
5) (possibly if not before) Battlefront Reboot
6) among other things I have yet to discover

If the next celebration was in San Francisco my chances of going would be slim but Anaheim (location of Disneyland for those who don't know) that's completely doable!

2015 is just around the corner. I think I have enough new things coming my way to wait.

Yes. Even more fun fact. Anaheim is the location of multiple theme parks including Disneyland and California adventures. HOWEVER, Disney headquarters is in Burbank. A city relatively far away from Anaheim!
